This is what happens when they keep the packs limited and sell them out, which I prefer. Looks like this Freddy is worth it, though!

This is a solid freddy but I’m surprised no wolf man or Dracula. But in saying all that I love that there black and white

Congrats to everyone who chased this set and got grails or other desired redeemables. It's a really cool line and I'm glad it sold out with the lower quantities.

Do people think they go this route and lower pack counts a bit for other lines going forward? With the $$$ Funko makes on post sale transactions, generating activity and interest this way maybe increases revenue vs. burning a bunch of packs and flooding the market with too much supply.

I know I am more interested personally in collecting stuff that is rarer and harder to get. But maybe I'm just weird that way.

It's a good idea to go with smaller drops. When the TMNT physicals came out, so many people decided to jump in to try and flip physicals, making it hard to get packs. I remember barely being able to get two packs of DC series 1 (the first series to drop after people started getting TMNT in hand), and there was something like 75k packs. But when those new people realized it was not a quick buck they dropped out. That brought the market back to earth but pack counts stayed high. I think drops like this, up to about 30k packs at most for really popular drops, is the sweet spot and reflects how many collectors there are.

Well I finally got scammed with NFTs while trying to complete the royalty. I paid for 2 epics and the scammer left the droppp discord server and blocked me. At least it was less than $20, so it’s not the end of the world.

I have an extra epic 40 to trade and am looking for either epics: 41, 42, 44, 45 or 47.

The UM premium pack prices were not on my BINGO card of them going so high in price.. not to mention the sell out in 10 minutes and the pack rip percentage on day one being almost 80%...

I bought 3 packs, but didn't get any redeemable. I did get 3 epics, but trying to determine if I should buy the other 5 or not. Do you all think the prices for epics are going to stay high?

I think this is a great point. People will always buy to "flip". But I think the many of the "full time flippers" are gone from this line at this point. They've probably gone on to other crypto stuff or whatever.

What I meant by deluxe was the new more complex 4” Pops that will be a higher price point. I think Kite Man was the first of those. I am pretty sure they are calling them deluxe.

Quoting myself so I can follow up and not look off topic. I had heard there were new 4" Pops that would be more deluxe and cost more, and I was assuming that's what all of these redemptions were thanks to the backdrops. They aren't called deluxe and Kite Man is not one of them, they are actually called Pop Plus and the first one is this new demon version of Nezuko from Demon Slayer:
