Agreed, that feeling when you'd rip a pack with low expectations and pulled a grail, or a legendary that you wanted. Plus multiple epics to trade off and get the royalty.
Good times!

You are one Excellent Funatic :freddy3:

I try to when possible. One friend didn't wanna do it because of the wait time buying usdc for the first time where at that point mine was instant so I can jump on a good deal

Yes I remember the wait time. At the very beginning it was pretty swift once you get a hand of it. I remember when NFTs started no one wanted in so I couldn’t lend a hand.

I do regret not getting some of the earlier sets but when I saw transformers I had to learn to do it

I really hope they dont retire the NFT concept and releases. Its still technically not too late especially now that Funko is so focused on limited edition style releases the NFT/Droppp way fits in more than ever

One would hope they are just planning several drops to release throughout the year. But it might be shelved for the time being.

I hope so. It wouldn't be a bad idea to release NFTs a few times throughout the year. Just to keep it alive.

I honestly think they are done. I think Funko is in sort of an adjustment phase and restructuring phase. I don't think NFTs are a part of the new vision.

I’ve seen those rumors too, but nothing official yet. I’d definitely be disappointed if they stopped the NFT drops because some of the best molds and limited pieces have come from that line. The chase and redemption aspect has been really fun for collectors.

The nft packs were always nice to rip. I did enjoy the older sets better though

Yea, it was satisfying. Even if you didn't win any drops, but at least had duplicate epics to get enough for the royalty.

The older sets were definitely better. Once Proto and Franny got in the picture, things weren't the same. I love Proto and Franny, but it didn't hit the same in my opinion.

It was a good run and I hope that maybe they will have a few drops throughout the year, just not sure how feasible that would be, but I’m going to keep hoping it happens.

I think that getting into / buying NFTs was just a bit of a high bar / learning curve for a lot of general Funko collectors. I mean, in order to figure it out, I watched more than a couple of YouTube videos and still made a couple of mistakes along the way. I didn't mind it, but I could see it being a pain for most people who would otherwise love to buy a physical product.

Yes that’s true. Also sometimes you can strike gold when you chase the pop you really want and it turns out to be a GRAIL. :happy2:

I really wish they focus on specifics lines, and simplify the process of how to obtain the pop. They should have tutorials of how to use.

Im so happy i never got into tHis. There was too much confusion and chaos where some drops were “exclusive” and never to be released and all of a sudden some were “found” in the wild. I dont mind that they were found in the wild, my issue is them being sold under false pretenses (just an opinion) lol
