How does acquiring these work?

Everything is done from the WAX website, you can read up on it from the Funko Blog. It's listed as Funko Digital Pop, everything you need to know. If you weren't lucky enough to get a pack from the release then it's all secondary market for those and individual cards.

So from the update on the T&C it looks like purchases are limited to $30 now BUT once you make your purchase you can join the Que again to do another $30 and not just refresh to buy more. It makes me happy they are setting more limits so we dont get another Poop show.

Also there is now a FB group set up for the NFT and tradeing ect.

Well let's see... Wax has been pretty much crap in handling these... I like how NBATopshot handles their release more...
I did not complete the TMNT set but did get a Casey Jones redeemable so i am fine with that... but Big Boy is definitely on my list... So hoping to get lucky

The ones you can redeem for an actual pop is so adorable. Big Boys is so fitting for Funko as a company. I have mixed feelings about the run size of these since I feel like people are going to be getting way more duplicates than the TMNT. I could be totally wrong about that but we'll see on August 31st

That's probably your best bet. The market will show you the current cost for the cards. I will say the values have been dropping quite a bit recently.
