Ultra Redeemables

I know that a lot of trading card games have "ultra rare" cards, so maybe it's just another rarity between epic and legendary? Hopefully we'll see more info soon.

Could be the new addition for the future packs that they decided to add in now.

Ultra is not Mythic.

Re-read the original post you’ll see Mythic and Ultra both listed. They are different things.

for me mythic is 499 cards and ultra is only 1 card

All prior sets have 1 of 1s already.

Ultra will be a new category on future sets.

Definitely a different tier. I'm thinking like a guaranteed pack pull similar to mythic but more common than Grail.

I think a lot of people do get discouraged by spending money on packs and ending up with nothing. Heck, I have spent $180+ on packs and pulled nothing and it stings for days (or until that credit card bill is paid). So I could see a more common redemption level bring people in and then keeping them around because they get the thrill of pulling a redemption card.

Either way more chances at redeemables soon! Love the mythic pack concept!! New excitement is needed imo for the nfts!

I wish the mythic packs could stagger throughout the sale and give people a chance throughout the sale. I would like to see sell outs again and packs not burned

I'm hoping the mythics and the ultras become a more common thing but the numbers are spread out evenly and in all packs instead of exclusive packs that sell out in seconds (unless i'm lucky enough to buy one in those seconds HAH)

Ultra seems like it would be something like an Easter egg. A lucky few would get ultra redemption. I hope it means you can have the collection coins made into a pin collection!!! That would be awesome.

Redemption Tokens are digital collectibles that are used to redeem for a physical collectible corresponding to the Mythic, Grail, Legendary, Ultra, and/or Royalty Set(s) for any given collection held in your inventory.

Redemption Tokens are delivered to your inventory after a collection snapshot occurs. To redeem a token, visit the Redemptions page to claim your physical collectible before the Redemption window ends.

What do you guys think Ultra will be? The order they list em makes me believe it'll be easier to get than Legendary with higher edition sizes.

You may be on to something. You know the number one complaint is folks saying that they struck out after a drop, so if there was a pack that gauranteed a redeemable but maybe not as a low of a LE as a legendary, I could see that being more beneficial to draw consumers in. Ultra sounds like maybe a LE5000 or LE10000 to me. Something a lot easier to obtain.

When I saw ultra it kinda confused me cuz I was thinking it was going to be lower then legendary and or grail. Then I saw over 5k and was like ok, an easier redeemable. We probably going to see someone post a video of getting a pack of more then 5 redeemable.

Update: looks like my lucky guess was right I do think that it’s cool that they are trying to tweak the drops to make physicals more accessible and likely to hit. This way people don’t walk away empty handed as often.

getting more of a chance at a hit is good by me! when i open $150 worth of packs and dont get a hit i kinda feel ripped, this would ease the burn!

Great catch. Maybe something along the lines of ~3k since it is listed before royalty? Would be cool if it was more and something like an enamel pin of the NFT token of the drop.

I have always wanted them to make a pin of the NFT tokens! I put it in Funko's suggestion box a year ago (I love collecting pins and I'm sure I'm not the only one who suggested it) so if they actually do it I would be so happy!!!!

I am super excited at the prospect of Ultra redeemables, I think anyone taking a gamble would love a consolation prize ! I will be buying some packs to crack as a couple of my friends would like that scooby!

I usually set a limit of 4 premium packs for myself but when I've pulled nothing by that point I just go for the Royalty to make myself feel better

I was thinking about that when I saw that the standard and premium packs were stagnant for a bit after the Mythic packs sold out.

What about them having a mystery bundle that could contain a combination of all types of packs but does not guarantee a Mythic pack? I'd take my chances!
