Funko Digital Pops - NFT

All this NFT stuff making me think I'm back in college again studying as an undergrad LOL!

This should be interesting. I never got into the collecting NFT thing, but given it's Funko I thought about it and now that it's Big Boy, I'm in. This will at least let me get some hopefully.

I’m not going to lie. I kinda like the idea of NFT and it gives people a more secure way to keep their collectibles but I’m dreading for when the collection sizes ramp up and they start disbursing the anime licenses

It will be probably be ad icons, star wars, marvel and DC (Batman)... These are the mainlines of Funko that they have license of... For sure they are in the process of securing one for NFTs

Agreed, should have began with $30 limit so it doesn't look like a huge reduction and I think more people would buy the nft. But I noticed some people were turned off because they couldn't get any and they were around 5-8k in line.

I've done NBA Top Shot but it's different from Funko. I like how NBA Top Shot is all in one platform while you need to go to different sites for Funko's NFT. I like the sense that there's physical pops for the legendary and grail NFT.

Today i Finished my Set!

Currently have the Freddy coming and i have a Casey Jones Legendary (but would love to swap it for a bebop)

Hoping the next drop is kinder and i can get some first market and not secondary XD

the sad news for me was the getting packs provided to be a really difficult task. the good news is that a good friend did me a solid and traded me one of his completed sets - can't wait for that freddy

Kinda surprised with this 2nd drop being simply Big Boy (sure its great) but I was expecting something little more....culturally pop known and enjoyed by millions IE Power Rangers, MOTU type of thing

Big Boy was Funko’s very first product, I think it’s great to do a set like this. Also you need to spread stuff out so people don’t get worn out on buying every single set.

totally agree with you. this is a new platform/product for funko, it can't be too much/too fast. TMNT was the perfect way to start things off, it was a globally recognized license what got everyones attention. not all drops will carry that type of hype and thats OK.

I was very fortunate to get through last time and I hope it continues Tuesday. Funko continues to up their game with Sodas and now NFTs. I am really excited about the future of NFTs and look forward to each new line. I think the choice of TMNT followed by Bob's Big Boy are great choices. :compress:
