If you already have WAX, definitely check out the secondary market. Some premium packs were going for only a little more than retail before they sold out.

Standard packs are selling on the secondary market for $11 - this is weird...

Yeah... seems like people wanted to try for a quick flip with less exposure but didn't account for the transaction fees and trying to recoup their cost now

Awee you are kind, I am a fan, but probably not as hard core as others - I have the GITD and Glitter MLPs from a few years ago and was hoping to add the Sunset Shimmer to that collection. I'm honestly so new at this I don't even have a WAX account or anything like that LOL!

Welp what I thought should be an easy drop for me. Turned out not so easy. My wait time is more than a hour seems like MLP is more popular than people lead on to be.

I don't know if it's more popular to collect or that flippers are seeing this as easy money. Once they all start to catch on - which I think they've already done. They'll just try different ways to get more and more packs. If packs always sell for more than retail then there's no risk. In addition to that, based on pack odds and prices of the pops, it's also mathematically profitable to open packs to make money. Although you need luck on your side. I think this is just another way for flippers to get more money.

If you dont want to go thru the hassle of buying crypto/WAX (its overwhelming and annoying), easiest thing to do is join a FB group and use PayPal to buy what you want/need from other collectors.

I'd agree with this take. I've found it difficult to get in for the drops after Transformers back in March since that was the last drop before the TMNT physical redeemables (from the very first drop last summer) were shipped after that. So once people saw the Funko NFTs weren't a "scam," there have been more people going for each drop. And you have to consider those who don't go to the conventions that have Funko exclusives as this is another way for them to flip and make money.

I would go to youtube and search "how to set up a wax wallet".

Start there and just slowly learn overt time! It's not all gonna click at first, but I've learned this community is great about educating new peeps!

I was able to pull three of the four Legendaries and the grail! And I’m about 85% complete in a royalty set! I am thrilled. A lot of other funatics were out there helping me try for packs but despite all of the naysayers, this set sold out fast! About 30 minutes I think.

When I checked out the last time, it said there were 3 standard packs and 300-something premium available.

It was stuck at 6 standard for a long time. I got thru after standard were almost gone and there were lots of premiums left. I just couldn't get myself to buy premiums so I let the timer expire.

Out of my two premiums, zero Epics but I did pull a Legendary Queen Chrysalis. Might try to trade her eventually. Undecided on going for royalty just because I didn't pull any Epics which makes it a more expensive proposition.
