as has been pointed out, Disney's own digital product goals are likely the current blocker. Hopefully things get worked out to allow it. I would take the plunge into NFT for Marvel, even if redeemables make it fungible again.

MHA and DBZ have to be popular topics in meetings. Anything that will make money has a chance if the price is right to the license holder.

Either of these could likely support that crazy high 100k pack set they just tried on DC2

Still skeptical about Anime Funko NFT sets as well as the best have yet to see any single Anime in Freddy Funko form.

Marvel - I believe it’s much more plausible at this point - even with the blockers started in earlier replies.

They've held off anime on a few things, seems like funko is pretty careful on what they do with them.

They been careful with anime for a long time but look at all the anime drops we have recently

Anime might happen but unless is a huge series it probably doesnt have enough funko content for it to go out... yet I think about the Bob Ross and Jay and Silent Bob sets... Who knows

I would only bet it will be a while to get an Anime series only because there haven't been many (any?) Freddy as (anime character here) made, and they need one for royalty. I believe many anime licenses are cheap to acquire and make characters of, but I can't imagine many are willing to let Funko do a mascot mashup, otherwise we maybe would have seen one by now?

The second part with the mash-up is most likely the issue. JP licensors are notoriously VERY picky when it comes to any figures, posters, clothing, etc.
If we see any... I would bet DBZ would be the first due to that license being distributed in the US for a long period of time.

That's my thought, we haven't seen any anime Freddy during Fundays. Japanese licensors don't want a Freddy head to mash with their characters. Until we do, we probably won't see any nft from an anime.

I do and don't want them too . My wallet got hit pretty hard with avatar and mmpr back to back.

At the same time it would be awesome to see some of the smaller lines get love

I think marvel will happen before anime. They both will be huge drops and probably a lot of packs will be made. I have a feeling anime might not happen for a while but who knows! Either way I'll be excited

I'm thinking comic based. Since DC has been more comic based characters. Who knows though, can't wait to see if/when it happens
