First Funko Anime NFT release should be…?

Hey Funatics!

I want to hear what you all think should be the first Anime NFT Release for Funko?

I personally think that it should be MHA.. and hears why - if we are going to talk about redeemables - MHA has a near infinite amount of characters to choose from & also could easily plug in Freddy into one of the plethora of heroes and villains. I know typically redeemables are a character from the anime but I’ll tell you right off the bat; no one and I do mean no one is going to be upset at a Freddy As Dabi, Freddy as Todoroki, Freddy as Deku, or Freddy As All Might in redeemable form. We can even go for other characters like Freddy as Froppy or Freddy as Bakugo and people would find it extremely exciting to hunt these redeemables in the NFT packs. Now this may break the net but it would be downright fun to see an Anime property come to life in the form of Funkos new flagship NFTS!

MHA or DBZ for sure. Although I would personally like to see Naruto or One Piece. Lot's of options either way for sure.

As a huge MHA fan, this would be my nightmare because I would never be able to afford them. I'm sure they'd be great but I'm not looking forward to it.

I would be shocked it it's not MHA or DBZ. As long as it's not Demon Slayer, I need to recover $$$ after so many sets in such a short time.

Would really be surprised if it’s not one of these two. Whatever the release it’s going to be hard to get, first anime and all. IMO..

I don't consider it anime. Someone on Insta called me a gatekeeper for saying this, but I only consider it anime if it's made in Japan.

Sadly I’m not an nft collector but I would personally love mha to be first!

But also putting some respect on og anime it would probably be either natuto/dbz/one piece/bleach haha

They're going to surprise everyone and come out swinging with Akira! A Freddy Kaneda or Tetsuo as the Royalty!

I think it will either Naruto or DBZ. Both with a huge fan base and you don't have to be a hardcore anime watcher to have seen.

I agree, if anything it's anime-adjacent and may open the doors for an actual anime NFT drop in the future. Who knows, maybe this would be the way we'd see the first anime Freddy if we do get one.

One piece will be my top choice if anime NFT ever happen. I need a Freddy Funko as Luffy.

2nd will be Naruto.
