What do you want to see regarding SDCC and Funko NFTs?

Is there any interest in people from this forum meeting up and chatting NFTs and Funko for a bit?

What do you think Funko will do with SDCC and NFTs (this is different than what you want)?

I personally think it would be cool if we got actual trading card packs at Fundays with common through grail that you could then redeem online. That would make in person trading awesome and would remind me of being a kid again.

I would love to get physical packs with the ability to put them into my droppp account online as well. I know last year they had the individual cards with the section mascot on it, but it felt a little lacking. Would a Fundays themed set make the most sense?

I’d like to see them hand out NFT cards at the booth. Doesn’t have to all be redeemable but I think it would bring more interest to them if they made them available like that.

I like the idea of a physical pack that you could also upload via a code or somethign to your dropp account. As well as SDCC-only redeemables. That'd be fun.

I think it would be cool to do random pulls and packs that are given out at the booth, at the panels, and at Funday (which they sort of did last year). But for this year, it would be neat to do a complete pack of cards like a pack of trading cards that could be redeemed online.

I hope they don't just do it at Fundays though. Make them available for floor attendees too if they go this route.

Something similar to DC HRO would be cool for convention NFTs. I always like displaying things like my SDCC/NYCC/Funday badges. Having a physical trading card would display nicely.

Physical trading cards at cons and events sounds like something that could help get more people into Funko NFT’s. Maybe there will be one in the Fun On the Run box.

How bold of you to suggest That would be kinda neat and theoretically (depending on the set and edition sizes) wouldn't be THAT much extra product to bring in. 999 grail and then maybe 2k of 2-3 legendary and royalty another few thousand... I guess that would still be a lot to ship haha

It wouldn’t be the normal nft drop, just something very limited where the piece count doesn’t have to be to high.

My wife and I each got one and redeemed them, but when I pulled the rare on the first pack I left the other unsealed. I tried a few times to trade for a different team but no luck.

Another great idea... or if Funko wants to make sure as much product is sold at the con, they could do "spend X amount and get NFT code".

this would actually be cool if they gave out packs. It lets them dip their toes into trading cards with packs, creates hype and if it goes well they could create a line of cards for ppl to collect

They did it at NYCC Fright Night too so this is the most likely thing they will do.
