Has anyone forgot to redeem an nft? I forgot to redeem the nickelodean wave 2 royalty and 2 legendaries

This unfortunately happens pretty often. On most drop days I see packs and legendaries sold for wax instead of $. So a pack sells for 34 wax instead of $34 for example. I feel like people have bots or something when those pop up because they are sniped off the secondary market so quickly.

There definitely is. A few times I've accidentally sold low mint cards for very cheap and 1 legendary after snapshot and noticed the same account swooped it immediately on multiple occasions

Haven't forgotten to redeem yet since I redeem the week of snapshot. But I do them 1 by 1 since twice already I've had a friend interested in something so I ask them to just pay what I paid for it and I change the shipping address of that specific one to theirs

I'm sorry you missed them I usually check my droppp account a lot to make sure I don't miss it, but I'm always concerned I will have moved something to my wax wallet and won't notice.

Yeah redeem day 1, people are hesitant to do that because they want to trade or sell it before redemption period ends.

You won't be able to communicate with the buyer or seller in this manner, you'll only see the account that purchased it. Unfortunately it also means you will likely not be getting your nft back.

If you can redeem anytime, people might redeem after 5 years and that would take some space in droppp storage

I have dreaded doing this every time I collect a redeemable. I also dread missing a royalty by like 1 NFT when I think I have everything collected and set.

Sorry to hear it has happened to folks. I think Droppp does a reasonably good job of highlighting upcoming redemption windows and timeframes on their websites, social media, and email. But it still is hard because the timeframe is so long after the initial drop.

I redeem as soon as I can but completely forgot I even had this. I wish it emailed your account or let you setup auto redeem for your account

I have thankfully remembered to redeem my legendaries/grails. But I was working on the Royalty set for House of the Dragon and had everything but 2 Epics. And then forgot to work on trading for them or buying them until it was too late. I am still so sad about that :/
