Matte vs. Glossy Boxes

Thoughts on the newer glossy boxes the NFT redeemables are coming in lately vs. the matte boxes?

Plz bring back the matte, it made the NFT line feel like a premium pop vs the normal white boxes you'd find everywhere

I personally don't sweat the small stuff .... as long as my boxes arrive in good condition they go into their protector and into the display. Just received this in the mail... does this look glossy to you? My definition of glossy is NOT this...

I prefer the matte because it displays better because the glossy one show all scratches and flaws (JMO)

Why do you think so?

It's probably just the difference compared to the normal white boxes. I like the matte finish, more as a personal preference. But the matte black just felt/looked a little more luxe. It's small and not something that would stop me from getting NFT.

Now that is the question. I do prefer the older ones but if the newer one is sturdier then that is a nice upgrade.

I think the Matte Boxes are cleaner, and coming from a print background, gloss is only meant to enhance items and making the whole box glossy doesnt really enhance anything IMHO. It would be better if they did spot gloss varnish on certain areas against a matte box and then it would really pop, but maybe that is just the print nerd in me talking.

Hate glossy. Guessing they changed because too many picky folks whined about the scratches in matte which id take every day over the compromised soft glossy boxes. Corner issues stand out more with those glossy boxes too.
