Mickey and Friends Series 1 x NFT

i wonder if Funko and Dropp considered this a success or not given the amount of packs they burned? I'm inclined to think it was considered a mild failure. But maybe a good start to expand with Disney into Marvel and Star Wars IP down the road.

It will definately give them something to think about, especially if the Droppp exclusive was a requirement from Disney. I would also be curious to see if people just didnt like the redeemables and if Princesses or a specific movie line would do better.

I was so excited for these, but I guess a lot of people weren’t lol

I’m happy I was able to get all but goofy and complete the set for the Mickey. I do wish it was Freddy as Mickey or even wearing Mickey ears but I’m sure it’s some sort of licensing issue. Anyways, I do hope they do another set or even venture into Star Wars :-)

Totally agree. If they ever drop a FF as Mickey, the majority of us would be in!! :mir1:

I was actually thinking about future Disney drops. I wouldn't be surprised if the Mickey Royalty was a Disney requirement, but if it was then that could work for future Disney sets. Yeah, we would all love Freddy as the Star Wars Royalty but Mickey as a Jedi or Mickey as Captain America could be cool, too.

Oh yes!!! This one was pure meh….. Plus with the amount of characters that Peter Pan has, you can have 2 or more series.

I was surprised it didn't sell out. I wish I had just checked so I could get some packs. I got stuck in meetings so I couldn't get out at 11 AM.

We got this no Freddy Royalty once in a while, I wonder if it's licencing issue

I knew it wasn’t going to sell out. No FF and the last few nft drops haven’t sold out as well. It’s starting to be a common thread now.

One of the craziest parts of this drop, was the Dropp discord immediately during and after the drop. There were so many people that bought packs just to try and resell for wax, but they can't and they were warned when buying. If I am spending the amount that some of them spent, I am double checking everything I click.

Absolutely agree here. The choices for molds to me were completely underwhelming. Not sure what would have made them better, but these were not the best choices for a first Disney drop in my opinion.

I really wish this wasn't a Droppp exclusive.. I started the process of getting USD... but they want me to create a different account to get some USD from there and then transfer it to Droppp... those Mickey and Friends aren't that desirable... I'll buy once the physical stuff comes out.

yeah the molds weren't that great either. I agree with you. I am a disney funatic with an annual pass that I use about 15 times a year, and I didn't even care for the drop enough to make sure I didn't forget about it.

with today's squid games drop and the fact that they had to burn so many disney packs as well, i wonder if they are gonna make any more changes to droppp packs. they need to up the hit rate % to entice people to come buy more packs. ~2% is just way too low for a legendary.

I am still hoping to get Donald before the redemption date, but getting USD is harder than anticipated (not going to create another account, but USD there, then transfer). Will try and sell some NFTs to get Donald... or just buy it after it's shipped

You can just buy it in FB or droppp though you bear the risk
