True Redemption Stats
Droppp shares on Discord the number of each redeemable that is claimed and obviously none are the full production number as some tokens are forgotten or backs are burnt or left unopened. Recently with burns being as large as they are, I'm surprised the redeemables are listed for so low. Squid Game, for example, had 53.23% of the total stock burnt, meaning that each legendary is no more than 1000 units and the grail less than 470. Those are TEENY TINY edition sizes! Blue Diamond from Steven Universe was just over 550 units redeemed and the physical is nearly double what the card cost.
So my stance is... a ~470pc Squid Game, ~775pc Harry Potter, and ~1500pc Star Wars have to fetch MUCH more in hand than their respective prices now, but so many seem to disagree. the 2000pc Harry from LACC is nearly $800 yet the NFT is running ~$600 and some folks don't see it going higher in hand. What are y'all's thoughts?

Yes... we're still here! Hoping Fundays 2024 will be my first!

Disney is going to be one of the lowest. I agree, actual sticker numbers would be nice.

You'd think the edition size would play a big role in the price but that's not always the case. It really depends on the license and how many people are going crazy for it. Prices have been all over the place for NFT's so it's really hard to gauge what'll happen when people have Pops in hand.

Re: True Redemption Stats
This issue you're describing is the sentiment of NFTs by a lot of collectors and buying and reselling in the space being sporadic until the items are physical 1 year+ later.
Collectors of funko have a stance against the NFT related funkos and this is highlighted by the hundreds of comments when a pop get announced as a droppp/nft pop being heavily against NFTs (by confusion of the space or hate idk). Once pops become physical and inhand I believe the scales shift slightly but these pops are forever tagged as NFT Pops which turn people off. The IP has to be very strong for people to think otherwise. Another point to consider is that you invest your money into a hundred dollar+ pop that you won't see until a year+ from the time of the droppp, that's also a turn off to buy something secondhand like that and then you got to deal with Droppp and all their shipping issues. I think the limited piece counts have obviously driven value of these pops against commons but there is a lot of things going against the space to consider too

Re: True Redemption Stats
Too many people assume low numbers = higher price. It's not always that way... if people don't like the figure, it won't matter if it is a 1 of 5 or a 1 of 5000...
As for the redemption numbers on a sticker... there are several third party sticker makers who have stepped up to do this... but I wouldn't hold my breath for Funko/Droppp to do it any time soon. Right now, they manufacture the original amount and are SUPPOSED to destroy the extras according to Droppp.

I wish they did as well. For the amount of time we have to wait i cant imagine that it take long to order them or make them inhouse.

I think Droppp sent out an email earlier in the year saying that protectors were coming soon.
Please Funko make Taylor Swift Pops!

Be happy to pay the $5 shipping if they took care and inspected each pop and placed them in protectors

Yea the physical versus digital prices are weird. I thought that the physicals would be higher once in hand but that's not always the case especially with the physicals that people have recently received. I do believe that the Harry Potter grail will be in more demand as well as potentially Minnie Mouse but we will see what happens once people actually receive them. Collect what you like and chase what you want - Value is nice but you may be disappointed.

Some of those pops are really going to be worth a lot of money, especially when people find out about the low numbers. I do wish they would update the count on the sticker.

The market prices for the nfts that can be redeemed have been very reasonable for the recent drops and I love it. Expecting my collection to turn completely black and blue soon.

I would pay that as well, but most of the damage recently has been from employees handling the boxes, so when this becomes an option, I hope they take their time to put them in the protectors with care, otherwise its not going to make a difference.

I have noticed people wait until they are in hand to purchase due to them not wanting to deal with the website and gamble part. But undercutting happens alot since people just want to get rid of them

For the people that follow the redemption numbers, they know they have some future grails in hand because once most go to their forever ones, the market will be harder to find leading to them going up

I know a funatic here keeps track of the redemptions which is a lot of dedication but unless youre in here, you will not know of the true numbers of drops. Would be cool info to share to the people but would they really care?

In hand goes down 99% of the time , I’m not sure why! You would think there would be a premium for a minty box in hand compared to the NFT

Yeah, I have noticed this as well. Perhaps because the initial hype is over, as it has been several months since the original announcement and the physical collectors may just not know about it.
I know there is still a lot of confusion about them, but I really enjoy the Freddy's. And the thrill of opening a pack.

Haha, yeah, it was fun getting the one grail I got in the many drops I have participated in. That was a great thrill, not so much on the others! But if I get a Mythic pack, I at least get a guaranteed win.

This summer is the 3 year anniversary of the first Funko NFT drop so I'd say they've had the ball rolling for a while
