I agree with you. I get a rush by opening packs since it's so fun but it's way cheaper to buy singles. Some of the prices on sportscards packs/boxes are outrageous.

I’m back on wanting to buy instead of redeem but the ripping and pulling does add fun

There is no rush just buying, but ripping a pack and scoring a grail = huge rush

Agreed but it's more cost-effective to just buy all the physical NFTs than spend money on 100s of packs. I've made that mistake before...

I pull if I like the set and want to collect all of them. If there is one NFT redeemable I want then I just wait to purchase it. :freddy3:

When that happens it makes me wanna buy another pack lol. Gotta know when to stop. Of course pulling 2 grails in a premium 1 drop and pulling back to back grails from 2 standards in another doesn't help

Very true, this is why I stick to a couple packs a drop and trade what I can :D

I noticed that I sometimes have had better luck getting redeemables if I am lucky to get in early and open them right away. If I just want a few redeemables I agree it's easier to get them on the secondary market. If i am trying to get royalty then I buy a couple of packets and I find it helps especially if I can get a few epics.

Honestly, it depends on how many redeemables I'm trying to get, especially the Grail, since the price can be really high. So if that's the case, I'll go for packs, but if not, I'll wait and buy only the redeemables

I know it’s really just luck of the draw, but I am curious how others feel about the different options?

If I really really can’t live without a specific item I will get it from the secondary market but usually I like the aspect of trying my luck and letting the funko force bestow my blessings upon me lol also if it’s a license where I want to complete the whole set I’ll usually get them all

We have invested a lot of money in opening packs. At times I do feel it is cheaper just buying the nfts you like outright.

The infinite gambling loop. I do really like ripping packs, it's a thrill but I've definitely converted to mainly buying secondary market. So far there hasn't been a must have grail in a while so I've been buying a pack or two and then calling it quits.

I'm definitely more comfortable trying to pull from packs when I'm also interested in the royalty set (or at least multiple Pops from the drop). That way, it's not a complete bust if you don't pull anything because you can add the other cards for the royalty set.

Buying packs to specifically pull the grail is 100% NOT worth it. If you only want the grail, I'd maybe buy 1-2 packs then go straight to the marketplace or resale. It all depends on what you're looking for!

I will always buy a couple packages to rip of a series I like. That's me just like with TCG I need that dopamine hit lol.

In terms of finishing royalty it's always better to just buy. I mean only really the epics get to 5-10 wax some more the rest are usually less than 1 wax. Or you can trade dupes on FB.

3-4 premium packs, anything more than that usually depends on if I get any redeemables in those early packs. If I strike out in the early packs, I'll call it a day and move on lol

If I don't get anything in the drop, I will buy packs later. The trill of ripping packs is just irresistible. It is probably more expensive but I like it.

If I don't get anything in the drop, I will buy packs later. The trill of ripping packs is just irresistible. It is probably more expensive but I like it.

Its an addiction even though you know youre spending more money its just ripping that makes it fun
