AP/Proto Loungefly?

I was curious if there were AP/Protos of Loungefly bags? I've never seen one but doesnt mean they are not out there. What do people think?

I don't think so - they are different from pins. Pins you have to see how colors bled, or how certain features go. With an AP Bag - they would make probably the one - but I don' think they do that with many. They are more expensive than pins to do, so they sketch and run the order.

To my knowledge, there is no way to know, since bags don't get numbered, unless there is a huge color difference, and then it's one or two at the most.

They usually have "samples" which are, to my understanding the equivalent to a proto. We got the Venom Loungefly backpack Sample at the HQ holiday party last year. It's a really cool thing to own!

For clothing brands when they do sample sales, I believe those are like their artist proofs/protos. I knew ppl who worked at some companies like stussy, freshjive etc. They look just like the production piece unless they changed something on the final design which usually wasn’t anything major. So I think samples are the closest thing to AP or protos but I don’t think as valuable or rare like either funko pops or sodas. Would still be a cool thing to have tho.

This reminds me of a time years ago that I bought some shorts at a sample sale from a very well known surf company. I was at a concert and the completely fell apart! Luckily I had a long shirt and a jacket I could tie around my waist!

I'm sure some have AP simply for quality control but I don't think they would hand these out for they would only want the public to have the final product.
