I don’t think it’s appropriate to speculate on why someone leaves a company. In my professional and personal experience, it’s up to the individual whether or not they want to share that information.

More appropriate to comment on why that person made a difference to you in that role and to wish them well on their future endeavors.

having collected Funko for decades and been on the board 14 years the losses are tough to take but, in the end, to be expected. You guys cannot imagine the wonderful people who were on this board when I got here. The generosity and community unparalleled any where else I have been. The only consistent thing in life is change.

This is so sad!!! I met her and Somaly at an event in Las Vegas a year or so ago... they were both so kind and welcoming. I hope she left on amicable terms because she has such a great personality.

I hear ya, and it was not my intention to speculate. It was more for me and others, that feeling we're sad to see the faces of Funko leave in such a short time. Of course people come and go, but we got to admit that when a bunch of important people leave the company, that this will affect the future for sure.
We all hope we don't need those people to continue (sorry to say, because I love them till the end) and enjoy collecting Funko for many many years.

So to get to your suggestion about commenting on what that person did to make a difference to you....
She was a great part of my joy in collecting and want to thank her for that. I hope she can bring that joy and fun in her future job and wishing her all the best! Thank you Karissa!!

The most beautiful, but also the most painful thing about life is change. Would be life without changes made throughout the journey. Although it sucks to see so many people leave over the years, it's completely normal. Especially in business. Even Mike's left Funko before this year.


Wish her the best, as she is incredibly sweet and energetic.

I really appreciated the return of Fundays to the MGH and filling out the survey, because that level of interest and desired feedback from funatics represents a true concern for our feelings. I wish the best for all who have gone after new horizons, and hope their time with Funko brought them both joy and growth for future endeavors.

Tristan was signing with Mike Becker at SDCC, so maybe he was being groomed to take over?

I like TopPops a lot - when I was out of work last summer, I rewatched so many of his videos just because I needed the positivity - but I don't think his skill set lies in hosting an event like FunDays. I never attended during the period when Mike was gone the first time, were those just hosted by Mariotti?
