Speaking of cons…I love the free poster tubes that Hulu gave away in the past (although you really need to tape the ends shut because I lost ALL of my posters when the end popped off. :( I also wish the tubes were triangle-shaped so they wouldn’t roll away. XD. I just need to remember to bring a decent poster tube with me this time.

We bought our own with us last year that are expandable, they fit into a suitcase easily and you only need to expand it if you get posters in the bigger size. It was so handy.

Wow, I didn't realize I could get an expandable poster tube, good to know because I usually drive but sometimes fly and not all posters are the same size so I may not need the long one if my posters are more the 11x14 size. Thanks for the info.

I have a full size Loungefly Stitch backpack. It’s got pineapples on it and I was not aware that meant something else.

I think I means something else if it sits in front of your house? Other that… I think Disney just wants you to buy dole whips lol

Dole whips are a great consolation prize and they are delicious. I love having them on a hot or cold day.

Dole Whip is so so good, this is the main reason we visit Disney (no shame LOL). I've tried making it at home but it's just not the same.

We purchase some Dole Whip mix before and it was good. But, nothing is as perfectly smooth and cold as Disney's Dole Whip, and the screams on rides... let's call it ambience, lol.

When I’m staying at the Hilton Bayfront for SDCC I get the dole whip almost everyday. It’s perfectly located for when you are walking back to the room on a hot day. I think it’s just as good as Disney tbh.

Haunted Mansion is my favorite ride too!! The last time I was at Disneyland the HM was under construction because they’re building a new gift shop near the exit. I have mixed feelings about the mercenary tactic of routing guests through/near gift shops: It’s tough on parents and guests with low-impulse control, but on the other hand—more cool merch to drool over!! :D

I love the idea of a HM gift shop, with it being so iconic it's surprising they haven't done it sooner. Last time we went (last July) they just had the cart out front.

The Haunted Mansion always has a ton of stuff for sale in the ‘Port Royal’ shop next to ‘The Pirates of the Caribbean’ ride (it used to be called Le Baton Rouge’ until they moved it).

It’s next to a Starbucks that goes all out with a theme, too! In the past, they’ve done things like Jurassic Park and Shrek. That little corner is a hidden gem, and I love it.

Yeah I think I got mine from Fox too, but I usually bring a poster tube from home. I have the ones that Mondo and BNG sends me posters in along with one from Amazon that has a strap and someone in one of these threads mentioned an adjustable size poster tube, I was going to check amazon for that.

Yeah I think I got mine from Fox too, but I usually bring a poster tube from home. I have the ones that Mondo and BNG sends me posters in along with one from Amazon that has a strap and someone in one of these threads mentioned an adjustable size poster tube, I was going to check amazon for that.

That expandable poster tube sounds like a genius idea. I’ll need to check them out on Amazon. I hope the ends stay on securely. I hate when they pop off and all of my pristine posters get trampled on. :(
:tink: I think Funko should offer a special edition of Funko Pops covered in Rainbow Sprinkles (like the crystal, flocked, or glitter editions. What do you think?

I’ve never had that happen but I would be both heartbroken and very mad. I am going to check Amazon too, I really like the idea of an expandable poster tube, sometimes you just don’t need that real long one.

The poster tubes fox gives out each year usually hold up well.

Mental note: loiter near the Fox booth to pilfer poster tubes. Thanx!! :)

Yeah, unless it is PN, and then it’s only slightly better, the area around the Fox booth is intense, so be mentally prepared.

Ours was pretty thrown around last year - and survived 16 hours in a suitcase with clothes & bits, so take of that what you will lol

Ohh really I’ve been on the lookout for a new full size backpack. I had to toss my little mermaid full size backpack.

Finally got to use our Loungefly Stitch leash for our little gremlin yesterday! When I busted it out I was shocked by how sturdy and good quality it is!!
