What was your first Mondo Purchase?

I attended the Michael Giacchino concerts in Dublin in 2019, and was thrilled to get the vinyl of the concerts. That was the first I had heard of Mondo.

I believe it was a Godzilla vs Kong Japanese Variant poster last year. It is an amazing piece of art.

when I first started going to SDCC (2013) I always tried to look for their booth but it was way too tough to get in line.

I finally was able to get in early enough to line up and was rewarded with the MCU SDCC anniversary one by Matt Taylor (2018). Been hooked with getting prints since!

I love the illusion of Godzilla and Kong, and the brush strokes of the katakana pair well with it. Definity a gorgeous print :cheers:

Yes! As soon as I saw it I wanted to buy it. Camped out the website and with a little luck managed to buy it at retail through their website.

Probably Bladerunner 2049 Vinyl.

Mondo vinyl is well presented but usually not a great pressing.

Hmm, I think my first purchase was the Fifth Element soundtrack vinyl, with the Super Green color. That or the Greg Ruth Batman poster from SDCC 2019.

That first year was such a nightmare. I had someone tell me last year that it was so insane that they had to shut a down a few times and he was able to walk up at the end of the day and buy everything ](*,)

That's right - that's what it was. I missed out on that one and was super bummed! It was a lottery through SDCC, right? Maybe even the first year they ever did lottery, if I'm not mistaken?
