My first Mondo print was Civil War from Tyler Stout. Fast forward 7 years and I think I have darn near 200 prints in my flat file and not nearly enough wall space to hang them up! Here’s to hoping one day!

Mondo did a great job with the pins. The Marvel pins by Tom Whalen always looked incredible.

Paper collecting is a slippery slope, I’m almost at the point where I need a flat file lol

My first mondo purchase was the Tyler Stout GOTG print at comic con years ago. The first purchase from Mondo after Funko acquired them was the Batman and Joker LE figures.

I’m really looking forward to a Funko Poster of some sort but in the screenprint mondo format! I think it would be an awesome in house collaboration

I'd only ever picked up a few pins in person at SDCC — until last year when I was able to get my first in-person poster: Ghidorah and Creature from the Black Lagoon. Two beautiful pieces

Was that the Godzilla vs Ghidorah art print by Kim Jung Gi?

That's a neat idea. Funko has plenty of talented in-house artists too, who would make some awesome art pieces.

That's a beautiful art piece with a lot of sentimental value, as it was Mr. Gi's final art print release before he passed away. I have his first Godzilla art piece which is one of my favorite prints in my collection. I just missed out the Godzilla vs Ghidorah last year.

It's a good one. Did you get a chance to get the other 2 to complete Jock's Original Trilogy?

I came very close to getting the New Hope one, but ultimately decided against it (slightly regret that one, haha). Return... just couldn't get into it. The "wow" piece from that set is the Empire one. But man, Jock really knows how to change a perspective angle. It's majestic.

It's my favorite as well. Love the color contrast between the white of the snow and the blue of the lightsaber and logo. Luke's orange jumpsuit really pops as well.

Into the Spider-verse poster! Can’t wait to see the artwork from the most recent movie so hoping that’s available this year.

We saw the Mondo Cowboy Bebop prints at the SDCC Museum, for that anniversary exhibit that they put up. We straight up drooling for them, and sad we couldn’t buy it off the wall. But then Mondko announced they were actually selling them as exclusives on different days of con, so we actually got our hands on one of them. *sob* so grateful.

It was a Marvel poster and I still have it. It was insane, the detail and colors. That hooked me right there.

In 2022, I got into the SDCC booth via lottery win and hoped to get the exclusive Cowboy Bebop poster. But it sold out earlier in the day. So, my first purchase ended up being the Shang-Chi (Marvel) soundtrack on vinyl.

I like and listen to them. But I can see how people may not want to open them if they see them as strictly a collector’s item.
