Funko’s latest acquisition, Mondo is an American company known for releasing limited edition screen printed posters for films, television shows, and comics, as well as vinyl movie soundtracks, clothing and apparel, toys, and re-issues of VHS releases
i wonder if they would be prohibited from re-releasing old posters by licensing rules. i'm guessing those licensors offer a window for only a limited amount of time? they could always try to renew, of course, but i would otherwise think that this isn't even possible.
I don't mind seeing that as I missed out on some, but I would do it like others have and make it in a different size. Either smaller or bigger, but I prefer smaller sizes since I'm running out of wall space.
Not a fan of that at all. I collect these (and did before Funko acquired them). The part that makes them so sought after is the collectability. If you do this, it will absolutely kill any collectible aspect of them (which in turn does affect secondary value of them -- and although that's not a driver for me it is for a lot of people). Rather, I'd suggest they focus their time and energy on new product.
