I friend gifted me the SDCC Marvel edition that CCI had the lottery for. That is actually my only one, I really love it.

My first was an Aliens poster! After that, I purchased so many from Iron Giant, Spider-man, T2, Dark Tower, to Star Wars posters! Such a great company for posters!!

Mine wasn’t a purchase. It was a free Mondo SDCC exclusive avengers poster. This is what got me started!!!

My first Mondo print was The Thing by Jock. But it was from a third party seller. At the Mondo booth, I believe it was an Aliens print by Kevin Tong.

I haven't actually purchased anything from Mondo. There hasn't been anything I am aware of that I absolutely had to have. Maybe SDCC '23 will change that .

Ouch! Can the damage be "framed out", if you were to display it?

Fortunately - yes. it's not noticeable unless you are up close because it's just on one edge. Definitely crushes the $ value of the piece - but it faired better than some other posters I had that got ruined. It was a painful flooding issue for my poster collection. The lesson learned - don't keep valuable stuff on the ground if it's in a basement, even if you have it protected.

Yea, I learned that lesson the hard way as well. Had some collectibles in cardboard boxes when we had a pipe leak at the house, and they were ruined. I keep everything stored in hard plastic storage totes, raised above the floor now.

Sorry about your pipe leak damage. It's so frustrating when you think you have everything nice and protected, but something crazy happens out of the blue to ruin something.

Yea, it is. I learned my lesson and now have collectibles insurance added to my policy.

My first Mondo was Martin Ansin's Star Wars foil variant print that was intended for SDCC 2020 but was sold online that year.
