Mondo Posters - Done or Not

I have limited wall space so while these Mondo posters are awesone I have no wall real estate to give them.

Wait and see mode on the future of Mondo for me. I used to like the novelty of the limited runs before the acquisition but I would miss out on key pieces I would love in my home. However with the layoffs are we to expect just more quantity over quality? Tuning in to see what if anything is released at SDCC!

I can definitely see some of the bigger Mondo artist in their portfolio including Matt Taylor who just had a poster release with Bottleneck no longer work with them. This does open it up for new artist which is not necessarily a bad thing.

You'll know before the lottery selections what exclusives Mondo will have and whether or not you want to use any tickets on the booth.

Boo, you gotta pay for admission and not part of your SDCC badge. I'm sure they'll get people to go but I'm not paying more and the museum is not across the street from the convention center.

In the SDCC 2023 booth preview video the word "posters" was definitely prominent on the Mondo booth. Fingers crossed.

Same. I wasn"t too surprised about Loungefly because I heard it worked pretty well as a walk-in for Wondercon, but I was pretty surprised about Mondo.

look at the segmentation that funko as a larger entity has with the acquisition of mondo and loungefly, and maybe more... its so that each brand does what it does and operates kinda on its own. i think mondo is going through a phase of getting rid of the existing staff and system across the board and trying to figure out how the new mondo under funko is going to work. but it was bought for posters... sure there is other stuff as well, but i expect that they are not done. now quality? hmmmm will see...

Yeah I think it'll be interesting to see how things other than the posters work out, especially the figures

yah, the line up is a bit of a pain, to say the least... cause sometimes just finding it or finding the end of it is a pain due to foot traffic...

they used to have drop times. you just had to be there like an hour before the drop and hover if you wanted it.
