Mondo screenings of the thing and they live

I've gotten to see it in the theaters a few times now. Even once during the pandemic. My wife rented a theater out for my friends and I so we could have a private screening of the Thing.

Where was The Thing screening at during the pandemic? I would have loved to see it in theater!

AMC Theaters was doing a special during the pandemic, $100 for private screenings of older movies (they had a list).

I know some theaters are still letting you rent them out, I’ll have to check on what movies are available.

I also know Angelika Theaters also do special screenings, as well -- though there aren't quite as many of those around the country as there are AMC.

That's awesome. I would of loved to See the thing in theatres. Not sure that I've ever seen it om the big screen and it's a good creepy one just for that.

Love both movies, I definitely would of jumped on the chance to view these movies with fellow fans of these classics.

Who was lucky enough to score tickets? Sucks i found out about this to late, really disappointed after i saw it was Attack Peter who did the thing poster. Hes probably my favorite artist left in Mondo.

Dang. I only saw this meow. Wish I knew about it sooner. I love the movie. Last year, I went to watch it in theaters when it was out for the 40th anniversary. With the Funko video game showcasing The Thing POP!s, I'm hoping we get those soon. Maybe by October? :P

Classic! I have been slacking on release news and missed this. Oh well, I hope we get more horror in october like others have mentioned.
