Packaging Variation/Chase Pieces???

Postby kevinbuddha » Fri Jun 05, 2009 1:31 pm

I was at Target today and they had a couple of the Star Trek Quogs on the shelf. They caught my eye because the "lids" on the top of the package are BLUE instead of CLEAR plastic like the the ones I have already purchased. I did not notice anything different on the characters themselves, but the BLUE lid does cast a different color on the overall packaging and the character.

Is this a packaging variation or is this a chase piece???

Has anyone else spotted these??

I saw a couple of new Star Wars Funko Force at Funko HQ and they had red lids, so I'm assuming that they just have different colors. I didn't think to ask.

The lids on the new Halos are a greenish hue.

Remember.............I have a cane and I know how to use it ;-)

I was just trying to help you completists out by pointing out a packing variation. Way back in the olden days, we would have all ran out to buy them and get extras for the other board members who would also have wanted them because they were simply a variation.

I'm just sayin'
