...an instant collection was gained.

Sometimes a dance deserves its own topic, and I think this is one of those times. Last week I posted that I was beginning a quest for all the Spastik cow variants, and a lot of folks said it would be difficult, having spent several years in search of certain colors; but Wackyga read my post and came to my aid.

Wackyga, real name George, had amassed a very respectable collection of Spastik Plastiks through their prominent years but had since put them into storage. He contacted me after he read my post and offered me his collection. We came to terms on a very reasonable price and George shipped them ahead of my PayPal transfer. I was floored by the modest price and the trust, to say the least. It's refreshing to see a trade go so smoothly and without extravagant pricing. George is a true Funatic.

As you can see from the photo, this wasn't a deal for just the cows. George sold me everything -- Comic Con variants, Collector Series variants, exclusives, and even Less Than Jake MvsR items. Again, I was and still am greatly appreciative that George did this.

The boxes were at work when I arrived this morning, and they became my first priority. I sat and unpacked each item under the close supervision of my cat. Every item was wrapped in packing tissue and neatly placed in the boxes, and nearly all were in great condition. There were a couple of damaged tubes, but those were easily replaced. After unwrapping I created the table display and took pictures. Later I arranged everything in order by product number and put them into cases at the Museum.

George, if you're reading this, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

I know I have a bad habit of resurrecting dead threads but I am reading the old threads and sometimes you come across something that demands a response even if it is a year late. I am a bit depressed over the loss of the Spastik line. It has long been a favorite of mine. Seeing 99% of the line in one picture is so impressive I had to respond. Wow what a beautiful picture and what a wonderful collection.
