I'm glad to hear that Craig, now I won't have to fight you for the Protos. :D :D :D

The protos for these would be the same platform shape (DIY Style) no? Just like blank qees, dunnys, trexis, mad*ls, Mighty Muggs, etc.

Maybe a painted pre-production proto?

Either way these things are awesome!! I like the different directions Funko is taking to appeal to more people, can't wait to see more.

Ouch, sorry to offend Otto. I guess having an honest opinion is a bad thing these days. To me, Funko was/is about originality. Yeah, some of their product is similar to a lot of other lines out there but at least it has the funko character flare, ie Spastik Plastiks (cool), Fantastik Plastiks (cool), banks (cool), the new Funko Force stuff looks very promising as well. I could care less if these bobble or not, I would just expect something a little more "Funko" than this. To me, this is just trying to cash in on the "Urban Vinyl" game, and in my opinion... I hope I can have one... if they wanted to delve into platform toys LIKE MIGHTY MUGGS, then they missed the boat a long time ago. Does this mean I am turning my back on Funko, Hell no! I just won't be emptying my pockets on these and just because they are "Funko" products, doesn't mean I have to like them.

I would however like to see an Obama Casserole! That would be original ;)

Kudos for the idea! =D>

Guys..I love the discussion. I never expect everyone to like everything. I can tell you a few things why I like the line..

1. Due to using the same body and head, my factory will allow for very limited runs..i.e I can do 500 pieces of Grape Ape, instead of normal small run of 3000. So Breezly and Sneezly become possible. Pixie and Dixe, The Impossibles, Obscure Marvel become possible. Land of Lost runs for Marshall, Will and Holly if we choose. Just the ability to do really weird stuff or stuff that would not meet our normal 3000 piece run for bobbles..like a Carlos, or El Guapo or new characters that Rob and Sean dream up....

2. The ability to mess around with Clear plastic, crystals, Led Lights, Cool paint treatments etc..that we could not do before. These allow us to have fun!

3. Comic Con gone wild..we can do some hilarious items for Comic Con....Maybe our Collectors of the Year get their face on a Nodnik..it's possible! Maybe a Marty Krofft Nodnik...possible... Due to using the same bodies and head for every Nodnik, our ability to customize is limitless..THIS is BRINGING some serious fun to our collectors...

I also believe these will look much COOLER when done..ever see a drawing for a mighty mugg? Pretty blah..but they look cool up in real life..Please keep in mind there are really very few ORIGINAL ideas left in the toy world..We just want to have with a new medium to play in...

And we really wanted a smaller item to make...This 3.75 inch is exciting for us!

Funko loves the discussion, so NO need to mute your points of views whether positive or negative!

I HOPE THE ARTWORK IS ORIGINAL TO EACH ONE OR PACK OF TWO. HALF THE FUN OF THE WOBBLERS ARE CHECKING OUT AND READING THE BOX. AND A COLLECTOR SERIES ARTWORK WOULD BE COOL LIKE THE LIGHT BLUE FUNATICS SERIES BOXES FOR THE LIMITED RUNS.

OK, I admit it. I hate Spastik Plastik!!! These, on the other hand, have possibilities (and, of course, they wobble).

I'm trying to imagine the Meal Magic kids as one of these, complete with removable tray maybe. Package him with a Meal Magic girl. Sweet!!!

From a business standpoint, darn right I would make Nodniks. Lower commitments, lower costs. I'm pretty sure Brian and the gang are shooting for retirement someday. To do that, you have sell product and make money. Here's a nifty item to boost their profits and help their IRA accounts. Just plain smart, smart, smart.

Best wishes with these, Funko! I see great potential.

I personally don't care for Mighty Muggs. I have Boba Fett (duh) but I don't care to have any more. The regular people (like Mace Windu) look like they have a thyroid problem. These are a bit cooler given that the heads aren't round. And I like anything Funko (except SMALL HEADS!!!)

That being said, it makes sense for Funko to make these. They should be a huge success. I'll be buying a couple of these fo sho.

Brian, you had me at "Impossibles." =D>

These are a bit cooler given that the heads aren't round. And I like anything Funko (except SMALL HEADS!!!)

That being said, it makes sense for Funko to make these. They should be a huge success. I'll be buying a couple of these fo sho.

[-X I have thyroid issues and I disagree  :roflmao:
