What draws you to the Spastik?

I only have the pops ones but I’m a younger collector. I’m drawn towards them because to me it’s the original Funko and the look cool all the little features like a pig cooking pig and a cow holding a cooked cow.

when i start collection pops back in 2012,,, i make a research on the history of funko and the other lines,,, i saw El diablo, bone daddy, señor gomez, juan, el guappo and El supremo and i was already in love !

Just bought a el supremo, man an instant fav for me, love the art work and to know he was a real person in Tijuana makes more of interesting character two thumbs up

The OG ones are basically what Making Fun was about. Mike was just trying to have fun with these guys. That's why there is a Pulpo in a Freezer Pack. Even if you read the back of the tubes there are Tons of Jokes.

For me, I like how they fit in tubes. They take up much less shelf space so that you can display more of them at a time. Their tall and slim design is cool where you can easily hold them in your hand like a trophy if you so choose to take them out.

I love Funko and these are a big part of Funko's history. I love original artwork and these designs are from the minds of the designers who made funko into what it is today. Lastly, I love the look of them, they just attract me by the way they look.

So obviously with the spastik line, it definitely fits well with how I started off my collection.

I have got to agree with everyone, the wacky original designs are just amazing and remind me of the character from the 80's, Rat Fink!! I love Rat Fink and the artist, Ed Roth's, style!!!

I started collecting in 2014 but it was random Star Wars and such ones I found in stores. But once I got into the social media community, a little more than a year ago, I learned more about the true scope of what has come out. Since then I have fallen in love with the Spatik characters, they remind me of my childhood! I have a lot of the pops and am now trying to get the wobblers too! So cool!!! Also love a good Freddy design!! Lol

The creative original characters are epic. I especially love the Polynesian themed characters and hot rod inspired characters. That’s part of the draw I think, everyone can find some sort of attachment to certain Spastik

So I’m not going to lie, my spastik line includes pretty much just the animals- I think they’re cute, even if they have cannibal tendencies and a drinking problem but really, I just like their design. I know my fiancé collects his Spastiks for the design look as well and a running joke we have about the devil (he does love his Diablo spastiks)
