It's a gamble, for sure, given what happened to a lot of the other non-Pop lines. I like what I've seen so far, though, and I think the old retro VHS style can only help with the nostalgia factor!

The packaging is top notch. Funko really knows how to do it in that aspect.
Yep
I just wish they were a tad bit skinnier
Like DVD thin? Maybe that might be next on the agenda

Me personally I collect all the Freddy ones, so I hope they keep it going.
I hope so. I've got a sealed one of all of them so far.

Same here; crossing fingers. I really like how they look on a book shelf.
Reminds me of all the VHS tapes I used to have.

I have hope that it will, they are really cute and I love the packaging. I still have my Evil Dead VHS, hoping to put an Ash Rewind next to it.

The Freddy’s look nice, it’s a different style we never seen and it’s good to see these unique styles Freddy can become!

Fun idea for sure but I can't see them making it long. They were a miss for me. Reminded me more of the soda line.

I think the boxes they come in are the coolest part of them. I am not a fan of the figures themselves. I wouldn't be surprised if they are gone after a year or two.

Re: Will Funko Rewind survive?
After the initial wave of release during SDCC, we have close to zero new reveals (aside from the Scooby rewind at NYCC), so you be the judge.
But I hope we get something new still - especially Freddys! :p

Yeah I prefer sodas over rewind. Although I do like the packaging.

I would retool the line to focus on Freddy Funko-only pieces. I love (LOVE) the original Funko IP stuff. Would be interesting to see as a rewind.

I'm honestly surprised at the backlash they've gotten as a product. I personally think they are pretty cool, but don't see them making it long. Could be the price point though. Not sure why this couldn't be a $10-$12 item that they could build with, but folks don't seem to be loving them.

In the Making Fun documentary a few of the OG collectors talk about how they rejected Pops because of their love of Wobblers. I think people who collect a certain thing want to stay dedicated to that thing, and there isn’t anything wrong with that. I personally didn’t collect Soda at first because I wanted to stay focused on Pops, but that was my mistake.

I can't put my finger on it, I just am not sure of the form factor. I feel like it is a bigger version of mystery minis, but smaller then sodas. I wonder if that might be the issue. It is too similar a concept to the Sodas, but even harder to display. Like I guess we would just leave the box in storage, but if you want to incorporate the box in a display, it isn't easy.

This is very true. I've met a number of Bobblehead collectors that literally only collect bobbleheads. Same with cards and hot wheels. Some folks just like their thing. I get it. Makes sense on more than one level.

I don't think this line will survive. Especially, when people open them at Target.

Yeah, I will never buy a Soda or Rewind from Target or Walmart. I either see everything opened on the shelf, or see one sealed one surrounded by open ones so you know they found the chase. Even when you are ok with getting a common, you want to know you have a chance at the chase and some jerk didn't open everything until they found it.

Most sat at the SDCC both. I don't really see a huge draw for these. The only ones I have are a few of the SDCC exclusives and the pair from fundays. But I won't be buying anymore I don't think.

So far only have the ones from cons and the Freddys. Only seen an empty panel at Target, so going to guess it will be like the sodas( if any retailer wants to have them besides Hot Topic). They will probably produce more. But seems like they might be questioning them since the announcements have be none existant. I would take more Freddy ones.

I like the rewinds, they are great for collecting and some of them look really nice. I have started replacing my grandpas DVD collection with these. I wonder if he will notice the difference .

I like the Freddys and I have some Scooby Doo ones, but I don't have a strong feeling that they will last. I do like adding them into my display (some without the boxes and some with, just due to space). I think if Funko is really reevaluating all the lines then this would be one of the first cut.

I also like the Freddys. I think that it has potential. Some figures like transformers and sailor moon chararacters may look cool in this style ... but I think it probably won't last unfortunately ...

Not a fan of them. That shape and form they have is already taken up by sodas. The whole chase/nonchase with them has also been making it less fun imo. The packaging looks very unique tho! I love the art and the little tidbits on them add a lot of charm. Too bad they crinkle easy:/ Here's to hoping we see something fresh.

With the need to cut down on lines and with Soda being much more popular these are probably going the way of the dorbz, neat concept though.
