Seems people like the packaging more than the actual figures themselves. I don't think they will last and will be discontinued in the next 1-2 years.

I agree with this. The packaging is freaking awesome. The figures...meh.

Probably not, funko will try to save money so they’ll cut lines the don’t make as much money as Funko pop’s or funko soda’s

As much as I would like for it to survive I don't think it was a major hit. Sodas did well and continue to do well unlike the rewind. Good idea though. If they want it to survive then you must find what people what when it comes to characters. :freddy3:

Yeah I agree. I think the only hope these had to survive is if these pulled people off soda line. I don't think it did. I think the soda line is still a lot more popular.

Ive tried to collect these but tbh its tough to not associate them with a certain childrens play figure. That being said I'll probably hold my freddies but not really get any more.

I kind of wish they would do a run of 80s movies for this series. Like the most popular movies that were out when VHS tapes were in.

I always see a handful of these pop up in my local Targets, but they're always scattered around the toy and funko sections. It's a shame to see the product fall off so quickly, but something tells me that Rewind may have been tied to the 25th anniversary as a special run type of deal. Regardless, I did like the Freddy and SDCC 2023 rewind figures they produced, and enjoyed the rewind section of their SDCC booth with all of the parody VHS covers in it.

I bought a few of these at SDCC last year. I like how they look on a book shelf.
Honestly haven't opened them up yet. So might have a chase in one of them. Hopefully all of them ;)

I hope it sticks around. I think it would be cool see them just come out with all the retro movies and such.
Maybe a Horror theme of the first VHS covers of Freddy, Jason, Chucky and such.

I like the concept behind the line, but I'm not sure the long-term viability of it. The reason? Because I hadn't really thought about the line for a long time until I saw this thread.
