Hi guys,
Forgive my ignorance on this but do the MvsR series stem from a story? I am guessing there must be a background to the figures but I am not aware of it. :?

The Science Guy character was used for the animated music video for the Less than Jake song called "The Science of Selling Yourself Short".
Other than that, what I piece together is that the Dictator is training Space Monkeys to go up against the Robots.
Scarbot is the leader of the Robots and he had the Robo Gorillas created to go against the Monkeys.
The Monkey Assassins, well, you can guess what they do.

David,
MvsR is a company owned by Vinnie Fiorello(the drummer of Less Than Jake) Mike and Brian helped him make and distribute them. There were some copyright issues with the name, plus it really pigeon holed the characters. It has been changed to wunderland war. Hopefully this helps.

The Wünderland War has begun quietly, we are waging a war

Thanks Rick-I live and learn! These figures had definately escaped my attention previously :!: I don't dislike them, but they do seem different in style to the rest of the MvsR series, which might explain why.
