The 2 blockbusters close to me in Edgewater & Annapolis closed this year. I was already drinking the Netflix kool-aid when this happened but every once in a while I wish I had a place close to me with a wide selection of movies that I could pick up an impulse movie at.

Have you tried Redbox? Depending on where you go, you can get lots of new stuff. I miss the old video store days. My summers revolved around waiting at the video store before they opened every wednesday (which then became tuesday) to get every new release. I was always up against some real characters who didn't have jobs it seemed.
