My Little Pony Pinkie Pie and Lyra
Hot Topic has posted teaser picture below of Pinkie Pie and Lyra vinyls on their Instagram.
Seems that like with Fluttershy and Dr. Whooves, also Pinkie Pie and Lyra have their own Hot Topic exclusive translucent chase versions. Pre-order of these is set to start this upcoming Friday at Hot Topic online store.

Shiny! I've still only watched the pilot episode but the figures are just too cute!
And I guess there was a BronyCon in Seattle the last couple days. I'm sure they'll all be super excited about these!

Re: My Little Pony Pinkie Pie and Lyra
I will get these, but I'm going to wait till they put up their exclusive MLP POP! pre-orders (or regular orders) to buy these as that way, I can save on otherwise horribly high international shipping costs. Of course I could just wait, till Hot Topic's exclusivity period ends, but I want to get these early.

I forgot where you are, Finland? Out of curiosity just how much is it to ship the figures out there? I can't imagine dealing wit the shipping costs.

Yeah, I live in Finland. From places like Hot Topic, Toywiz, BBTS, Entertainment Earth etc. minimum shipping to Finland is typically $30-40 and usually covers 1-2 items (sometimes more depending on weight). After that price usually goes slightly up, but not that much, making buying more, more affordable. Of course then there is also 24% import tax (from the value of shipment including shipping), my government takes, when package arrives to the country and then if package value is over 150 euros, there is also 4,7 % (rate for plastic toys) customs duty on top of that.

I have to admit these funko ponies are bringing back my love of mlp from when I was a girl. I am still excited about the pops but the vinyl ponies are great. And now I'm looking at the other vinyl figures.

Re: My Little Pony Pinkie Pie and Lyra
I also have really gotten into MLP (I watch at least one episode every night on netflix) and I love the vinyls. I found a sparkly Fluttershy at a local Hot Topic and the hunt has been on for Dr. Whooves. Pinkie Pie is gonna be a must for me. Her and Fluttershy are my favorite characters.

Ah, the infection spreads, welcome to the herd.
Kitzka's right though. Your pocketbook is going to be very cross with you soon. I have four MLP comic books on pre-order right now, and am about to drop cash on Pinkie and Lyra vinyls and maybe the pony pop! series..... And if funko makes an Applejack figure, I'll just throw My money at them.

Thank you! ^^
I'm so getting the Pinkie Pie vinyl, it's the only figure I've seen thats gotten her tail right. Considering the Fluttershy vinyl, but they're so heavy and big..
I don't understand why they're not making Twilight Sparkle as a vinyl.
Rarity and Applejack deserve figures too, but Twilight is supposedly the main pony.
And I'm soo getting the pops!
My boyfriend is getting hooked too, he wants Snips and Snails figures,

Well, my hats off to Eurocoin and Elaine for collecting anything from the US at those shipping costs, taxes, and tarrifs. Holy cow! I imagine the cost really focuses your interests.

With Fluttershy and Dr. Whooves it was 1:24, don't know if it's the same or different this way around.

Sorry. I wasn't clear. I just can't wait to get the ponies period. Have pre ordered the pair from hot topic and assume they will be the standard production pieces. Eventually will get the chase pieces.

The one in Greenville? I you did, I am going to be mad because I was there today and the girl told me they didn't have any vinyls. I saw the Pops!... but like I said, she said there weren't any vinyls.

No, the store in Anderson. She told me they had just put them out Saturday night after they closed.

Re: My Little Pony Pinkie Pie and Lyra
My Pinkie Pie and Lyra arrived. Both were basic versions, which is more than fine with me as I prefer the basic versions over the translucent variants (though I would not have minded Pinkie-variant).
Note: Pictures below have been photoshopped as I only bought and have one of each figure.

This shipment didn't came out too cheap, 73 euro (approx. $95) for the pair of these. Though this was only the half of the shipment (other half, couple of pony POPs, arrives hopefully next week), and the next shipment kinda balances things out as all the shipping costs and taxes hit on this shipment and the next one, won't get either.

I really wish they would put the cutie mark on both sides of the flank. then i could display facing either way.

Pretty pics!
Eurocoin, you should really look into getting an American friend who can send you these as gifts! I've had several funatics help me get my pieces, and I can mitigate a lot of the cost by avoiding the VAT barrier.
Do you guys have to pay tax and VAT on items sent from private persons too?
I paid about 60$ for the 2 ponies Cristina helped me get, and I've several times had Krissy send me packages with 6 pops or more for just around 33-40$ shipping (and of course the original cost of the items).

Finnish customs does not care, if the package is a gift or not. They are just snatching gift-marked packages more eagerly and then you have to provide them with an invoice, that states the value of that package (items + shipping), just like with commercial packages.
Panthera wrote:Do you guys have to pay tax and VAT on items sent from private persons too?
Yes, we do have to, Finnish customs does not care a one bit, whether the sender is a company or private person. And one of the most annoying thing is, that we have to pay taxes (also duties, if value goes too high) from shipping too.

Just got Pinkie and Lyra from ebay, marked as "new".
Pinkie's cutie mark is completely ruined and Lyra's hind legs are bent.

I'm not sure about Lyra's legs. For me it looks like a flaw, but maybe they supposed to be this way?
