I just received this gem in the mail. Been collecting Hanna Barbera stuff more lately, and I feel so lucky to have acquired this so easily! It's the Funko Force Huckleberry Hound Metallic Chase Variant!!



This makes me wonder what all different characters and chases of the funko force are out there.. share if you have one!

I wish I could add definitive info on when the Huck FF were released, but I can't lock it in. Evidence I found suggests 2010, even though three of the metallic Hanna-Barbera FF were released in 2009 (Capt Caveman, Secret Squirrel, and Hong Kong Phooey). The 2010 catalog doesn't show them. I found a site that clearly shows all the regular Hanna-Barbera FF at Toy Fair in NYC, but there isn't any description--other than the title TF2010--so, that's why I guess the regulars and chases came out in 2010. I also have a picture from Funko Fundays 8 (2010) that clearly shows the Huck FF protos (multiple colors and white) on the table. I looked at a lot of FFD 8 photos, but couldn't see any HB FF on the shelves (drove me nuts). Kevin was there that year, so maybe he remembers.

To clarify, I believe the red, green, dk blue, and red/white/blue Hucks are just color variants, not chases. The dark metallic blue is the chase version. And I have a note that says the chases were 1:36 so that would make them LE55 or so. The pop price guide shows LE83. And, if I had to guess, I'd guess the color variants were given out at Fundays. Again, someone who was there would have to verify (Kevin?).

Yes, this one is actually a handpainted proto with Brian’s signature on one foot and “1 of 1” on the other. Was to be a special Gemini LE12 chase from what I was told, but wasn’t approved. This one actually was sent to Gemini from Funko.

I was able to have the aquaman and joker chase, but sometimes the trades for other pieces are more important ;P

Awesome piece with the proto! I have a few funko force piece I think they are the universal monsters ones. I will have to dig them out.
