Don't get caught dead without Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, and Michael Myers Plushies, coming this December from Funko.

Red as in bloody red. I have the pic, but the killers intrigued me more. You buy all these cutesy Plushies for your little girl and then toss in a few killers. Sure she'll grow up and be OK. Don't worry about it. Bwa hahaha.

Hmmm..... maybe and maybe not ...
Plushy Superheroes... fine.
Plushy Monsters... ok too.
Plushy Killers?
Hmmm.... what if your little one takes it to preschool / kindergarten for "show and tell"??
"Honey, it's the Dept. of Child Services at the door .... dear .... "
Hmmm.....
Seriously, I'm not so sure about blood dripping plushes ... but hey... one man's Freddy Kruger is another man's smurf I suppose ...
What's next? Plushy zombies? (Oh, no... I'm giving them ideas...)
LOL!

You've confused me.
Superheros have killed people, as well as alien lifeforms.
The Universal Monsters have killed people. Frankenstein hurling the Maria, the daisy girl, into the pond is an all-time classic movie moment.
So why do you give those two plush lines an emoticon thumbs-up and the other line such a thumbs-down?
Just curious......

Re: killer plushies
Well, maybe it's me but there's a teeny tiny difference between superheroes and "classical" monsters (Universal etc.. ) and modern slashers who the audience is prompted to root for.... I would not put Mary Shelly's creation, more pathetic and confused, into the same category as Freddy Krueger.
I just don't root for mass murderers.
Just not something my Tribe does ...
We have at least 6 million personal reasons in recent history.
Got it?
Our culture doesn't need to make up such things. We still have the real scars.

You have no argument from me about your reasonings behind not liking the contemporary "monsters", but you still have me baffled by your thoughts with Frankenstein. The only thing pathetic about Mary Shelly's Frankenstein is her writing. The creature was a very articulate and smart being, who unfortunately was so repulsive looking that he was shunned by everyone- including his creator. As revenge, the creature opted to torment Victor by killing his brother, his best friend, and threatening to kill his new wife, all of whom were innocent folk. So while I think Freddy and Frank are in the same category, I'm simply trying to figure out why you don't.
I totally respect your opinion and your beliefs. I'm simply trying to understand them. I pass no judgement. Really.
