Had to double check to see if this was an exaggeration. But yup, it's at 16%, SNAP! Maybe it's one of those it's so bad it's good? Meh. Don't think I've ever seen a "big" movie with that low a rating. Crazy.

I liked it. Action check. popcorn check. Crazy monsters check.

I can't say much about the mummy since I haven't watched, but honestly Transformers wasn't THAT bad, as in its rating. That series has never been great and a few weren't even good, but they had more value than rotten tomatoes gives them credit for. For some reason, the critics have always had this weird hatred for the Transformers movies that goes beyond dislike of the movies. Another example is The Dark Tower, it's currently at 17% and it wasn't bad at all. I wouldn't say one of the greatest movies ever, but it was good for sure. I seriously think movie reviewers are some of the oddest people on the planet. Some of the worst things you'll ever see are rated better than decent movies.

I will say, I'm a little biased on the Transformers though. I've wanted more pops of them for the longest time.

True, some movies you just have to say, "let's have some fun!" and enjoy the escape.

I think @ocwankenobi may be right, but he's a little different for sure. I never saw that Ft13 remake, it didn't look good at all. That's saying a lot, because I love horror movies. I will say though, I had no idea Michael Bay was involved. Are you serious he put explosions in that one too? He may be a good example of a SFX guy who got too much power. No one can deny his excellence in destruction, that's for sure.

This particular story is pretty funny to me. The Mummy really was a HORRIBLE movie...I don't think anyone was really excited about the line of pops. But surely enough, when it is no longer readily available and there is a unique story behind it...the price skyrockets.

I think it's all hype anyways. Regardless of how limited this pop is...only a true collector and fan would shell out money for it.

I didn't watch tom's mummy remake but I wanted to point out that despite the name it actually wasn't a remake of Brendan Fraser's franchise but the Mummy movies from the 1930's-1950's. This movie was supposed to launch a new series of Universal Monsyer movies. I believe Russell Crowe's character is named Dr. Jekyll.

I'm actually surprised to see tom's proto out since he cancelled the pop.

Actually, I didn't think the movie was as bad as people made it out to be. It wasn't the best but it wasn't awful. The friend who was dead was annoying but I liked Tom Cruise. I really liked jekyll and Hyde just not Russell Crowe's horrible accent. He shouldn't have even tried. This was just a means to an end for me that end being the invisible man which is what I really wanted to see. Too bad it couldn't get there.
