I wait if the common has an exclusive variant and if the mold is cool, as long as the mold is great and it’s a character I enjoy then I buy commons

Re: Anyone buy commons any more?
Depends on the commons. I mean how many versions
Of the same character do we really need. And I’m not talking glow blacklight diamond flocked metallic. I’m talking do I need a pop of a character that’s sitting then one standing. Unless it has to do with the story line of the character maybe make something that doesn’t look the same.. yes I’m talking about my hero…

Yeah, I typically enjoy getting the con sticker, as it is like the thrill of the hunt. I would love them to have more limited count pieces at the cons though, not shared, but I totally get that they need to sell a lot of units. Are you heading to SDCC this year?
Yes , hopefully someone in my family gets lucky on preview night draw here or on the funko lottery. The first year they adopted the lottery system at sdcc 4 of us struck out. Are you attending this year?

Or have other collectors started to only buy stickered, exclusive, Con related, specialty, etc...?
It is rare that I see a common pop! that I feel like I need to add to my collection. I feel like I have to be extra choosey because I just don't have that much space anymore.
Anyone else feel the same way? Am I missing out on something?
Some commons do look really nice, depends on it. But mostly I try to stick to exclusive only. Also don’t have anymore room

it's what happens when the market is so saturated with Commons and Chases, that neither of the two matter anymore. It's like comic books. with variants and many many of them 1:25 1:50 1:100. how can you We as a producer make you the consumer feel special...

Funko has always been about buying what you like. If you like it and/or it has meaning for you, shouldn't matter if it's a common or exclusive.

Yes, I am attending SDCC this year. I never have gotten preview night, but I did win the lottery once a couple years ago. Hoping I get into preview night this year. And of course hoping for Fundays tickets.
