Who’s excited for this new show?

I am actually really looking forward to the show. It reminds me of an Amblin film or Stranger Things but in Star Wars. If I like it, I’ll pick up the Pops.

I think there’s too many side stories now in the SW Universe. However, I think it does look interesting and I’ll at least try the first episode.

Truly can't wait for this!

I think its going to fun and a totally different approach from Mando/Ahsoka/Acolyte/Andor.

I know folks have a lot of criticisms of new star wars rn, but I just love all the new content!
Its just great to get new dimensions

Yeah hopefully we get something great for this show. It should be fun to watch.. you can't really please everyone

Always excited for new Star Wars but will hold off on buying these until I see the show. Still annoyed by no Kelnacca POP lol

Really looking forward to this one! It will be fun to watch something based in the universe of Star Wars that won’t require mandatory knowledge if other movies, shows, etc to understand the storyline.

I’ve been a bit disappointed and underwhelmed by a lot of live-action Star Wars shows, BUT at the end of the day I’m always grateful they’re made and find things to enjoy in each one! I’m hoping Skeleton Crew will really lean into what the universe is like from a child’s POV and get to spotlight more alien species in prominent roles.

I was surprised to see Funko announce the Pops this early and it’s neat to see they even have a Funko Shop exclusive! Maybe LucasFilm really wants to drum up more hype haha. I will definitely be watching!

When was the show announced? I still need to catch up on the series that got canned - I would be interested in more Star Wars glow pops in either case.

It was announced a while ago at a Disney investor's presentation during Covid I think.

Skeleton Crew is part of the “Mandoverse”/New Republic time period, between Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and Episode VII: The Force Awakens. I’m gonna guess it takes place during/after The Mandalorian Season 3, but we’ll see!

I did pick up the Fern Pop at Target last week. I am still debating getting the others, but Fern was the stand out for me in the first two episodes so I snagged it.

I definitely do!

He reminds me of K-2SO, but very pirate-y haha. Star Wars droids are so fun, and I think Funko does a great job in making them as Pops!

Yes, the creators were very inspired by Amblin movies like The Goonies

I enjoyed the first two episodes! I haven’t seen Stranger Things or Star Trek: Prodigy, but I’ve also heard Skeleton Crew get compared to those shows.
