Pop! Nooks

The librarian in me loves these, but weight would definitely matter; they also need rubberized bits on the bases to stop them from slipping under the weight of books.

Personally, I would love to see a line of author Pop Nooks--like, we already have an Edgar Allen Poe Pop, make that a Nook. Get me a Stephen King Nook, too.

I mean, I've seen a ton of soft toys, etc. in bookstores of Whitman and Dickinson, so I'm sure that you're able to license a likeness. I think the problem, though, is marketability.

I mean, Funko has a created things that don't have a wide appeal in the past, and fans of those things absolutely love it. At the same time, it's such a risk and I don't see them doing that at this time.

A better play could be doing Nooks that are related to actual books (not the authors themselves)--Princess Bride, IT, Harry Potter, etc.

True. I just noticed that some businesses (which i disagree with) that if the consumer group isn't large enough they don't bother. I know funko is different but I can't 100% be sure it won't happen

I really think a two pk would be more cost-effective for us but I can see why funko only is doing one.

Yeah, the tough part will be if there are 2 I really like but they’re both left or right facing.

What if it was interchangeable? Like you can turn them around.

Yea especially if the book is a scene that can change features. Like if one was maleficent as a dragon breathing fire, one option would be her without the fire and her with the green fire. Just a thought

Yeah, I can see it being offered as a one-off and them discontinuing the line. If there isn't an option to switch from left to right, then I'll have to see if there are 2 (left and right) that I like and can purchase at the same time instead of waiting to see if the other side becomes available in the future.

Yea I just believe there’s so much more can be done to make it another Funko spinoff like the bitty pops

I haven't gotten one of these yet but it's definitely a neat idea. If they make Luffy on the Merry as a nook I can see myself grabbing one for my wall!
