I agree

IMO got to disagree on the worst pop. I actually really liked that chase because of the memories attached to the character but the pop itself i can see how people may not like the pop.

Worst chase still remains Stitch with Record player, not because it's a terrible chase, but because the common is unwanted garbage. The Chase makes sense without the common, the common does not make sense without the chase.

It's not that bad.... worst is Valerian Doghan Daguis.... no one at the time knew what the actual chase was due to the sticker error.

Yea but the sticker error gave it a memorable vibe rather than just plain chase stitch. I see where you both are coming from though

Thank you! lol. I ended up breaking down and buying this chase on ebay for lower than I'd seen before so, as a full set it makes sense. But I wanted to throw these commons through a meatgrinder.

I like it when a chase is an entirely different mold or character

Some of the recent chases have been pretty lazy imo like oh it glows or is flocked or bloody

That can be fun, but I really dislike it if that's the only way to get a certain character. Especially if the other character is a necessary part of a pair or ensemble.

Oof... off subject but that's sorta like with Thrilljoy and certain characters are either Supers or Ultras. You sorta have to deal with "I guess I'll never own it".

-Worst Chase: Sub-Zero, Just a little change in his hand with the power.

I will like to hear your opinions.

Just gonna agree that fight club pop is a memorable even though I thought it was a bit ordinary compared to other chases

Yeah. It's rude, but then why get the common if it's a duo that you'll never complete. XD Why even try?

The property/license, the edition size, whether or not it's vaulted, error, unreleased (clockwork orange/Andy Dwyer)..... at one point, the ratio (1/6) vs (1/36).

I feel like it’s a mix of responsibility but more on Disney than Funko. The reason why is because Disney is very very rigid about their character designs.

True I feel like Funko sometimes has their hands tied on some things. It's what I think when people for example complain why they haven't done Pokémon chases with shinies

I agree, unfortunately when it comes to intellectual properties, it can become very, very rigid or very, very complicated when it comes to collaborating, but I do think Funko is doing the best it can when it comes to producing pops and at least trying to hear us out

Ahhh a classic. To me this pop is special because of the monocle being metallic. Considering now Funko can do clear ones.

To me, it’s not the scene I enjoyed the movie. I really liked the franchise. I enjoy the characters and I especially enjoyed that scene because they were like Easter eggs like the Mulan poster in the background but what was for me that I didn’t like about the Chase pop was that there wasn’t a Level creativity that I expected from Funko that I know that they can do.

Incorrect. It is a terrible chase, but before I get back into it, I'll have you know that I DID watch Lilo & Stitch and that scene is fantastic. I've watched it a dozen times, and it's a great flick to just have on. Stitch is an adorable character.

What makes this chase absolutely terrible is NOT that it's a great pop. It IS a great pop. But the chase/common combo is awful. No one wants the common. The common is basically Stitch touching a record player. The chase should have been the common. The CHASE is the important part of that scene. The common should have been the Stitch playing the record open mouthed and the Chase is the closed mouth, adding humorous context to the common. Instead you have 5x the amount of worthless Stitches pointing at a record player staring blankly forward. It's a terrible combo.

A final note. I finally acquired one of the chase figures after years of yeeting these terrible commons.

That is fair, I've seen lazier chases. But to me it works and is significant, but it's totally fine if it's not to your liking.
I did have it as honorable mention, but I still stand by as Punisher being the best chase for me.

Quite the passion to hate on the chase. But hey, it's all good. I personally loved it. It's not the best one which I've stated, and I've definitely seen worse ones. But the worse ones in my opinion might be someone's best and at the end of the day, that is totally fine. That's what makes funko great. All subjective and to each is own.

Appreciate the passion though, that's what this blog needs nowadays.

Lol, for sure. I get the love of the figure. Again, fantastic figure. It's the way it was presented to us that always irked me. Or that it was even a chase at all.

5 years of animosity towards this Funko (released in 2021)... What did it ever do to you Comicszombie? lol

I trust the process they do. If something comes out that isn't well received I always see it as something even cooler is coming

A personal favorite Chase of mine is Vamplre Spike from the first wave of Buffy.
