Super super difficult for Funko IMO, they don't stray too far from the mold. There's only been a couple times when they went above and beyond with their PoP. Take Benson from the Regular Show for example.

I saw a comment or something on a tweet that said the same thing, that this will be at Mondo. I know that Mondo is doing a big Godzilla thing but I don't see this pop in their announcement. I assume this is a funko booth item

Mondo doesn’t sell funko’s even though they are owned by them. This could be a new thing but for the most part for them to sell 1 pop when the rest are at Funko booth is highly to show up at the booth and not mondo

I could see Funko bundling a pop with a Mondo product, just like they do with Loungefly.

It took a bit longer than I liked, but overall I’m really pleased with how Funko announced their SDCC exclusives this year — revealing everything in one day (versus spread out through many days; hope that continues to be the norm for con announcements) and exactly two weeks before Preview Night!

They don’t have a massive lineup this year, but I think they went for quality over quantity, and I love that there are a bunch of limited-piece, show-only Pops!

I’ve seen 2 sneak peaks of 2 of the exclusives for this year so far. Hopefully they have a strong lineup this year. I didn’t think it was the best last year and of course it was the first year I got access to the booth

each year will be different. dont always expect each year to be peak, just see what they release, see which peak your interest, and try to get it at the booth rather than resell market.

My no. 1 want is definitely Diamond Thrawn! Second favorite is Elmo with Rocco! If I can’t get into the booth, I’m still deciding if I want the non-Diamond Thrawn, Kermit, Snoopy, or Edna Mode. I really like Can-o-Corn Freddy but I don’t collect SODA haha.

Do they limit the number one can purchase or can some random person walk up and buy multiple cases? Just wondering what are the chances of anything being left come Friday and assuming I am able to get in with the lottery.

Limit of one style per person usually. Not sure about Sunday at closing time if they’ll open up the limit. Selling out depends how popular they are. I had a Saturday morning time slot last year and I was able to get glitter Gaia and black light Jimi Hendrix numbered exclusives.

They’re supposed to have a set amount each day so they won’t all sell on day 1 for example. But they could run out the first 2 hours.

The lineup for this year's event appears to be quite promising. I am eagerly looking forward to attending this year, especially after the unfortunate writers' strike that occurred last year.

Nope, they just put out until sold instead of allocating throughout day

I was excited that Proto was going to be available online but now the entire Freddy, Franny and Proto set are con-exclusive. I can’t hate it though because that’s cool for people in attendance.

I’m going for Freddy SODA and some other figures online and definitely entering the EQL raffle for boxes. Wasn’t sure which team I’d choose but if it’s 1 entry per then I’ll try all!

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I think it was against the back wall in the Funko area last year. At C2E2 it was out in the area where you line up in the morning, but Funko wasn't running that line, it was the con doing it.
