I got into the booth for the first time! I have a Sunday at 11am slot. What chances do I have at getting any of the LE Freddy or franny?

This is just from experience from other cons, 10 & 11 in a Sunday is still fairly high. But 11 am will probably be dwindling down in qty. That is if they ensure a certain allotment of qty is available each day. Make sure you are there early despite already being guaranteed a slot. That way you'll be one of the first in line and be able to increase your chances.

Yah, it definitely needs some transparency, like how many winning tickets are available for each event and post how many entries there are after the results come back. It would help a lot if we had a better understanding of how many tickets were being dumped into stuff

No go for me in the portal this year. I've struck out every year on a Funko booth slot so hoping for end of day inventory. Doubtful the con only exclusives will be left each day but who knows.

I think it does, while it allows for fair chance, during the selection process it seems whatever system they have in place highlights winners and throw them back in the draw where their chances are increased because the coding recognizes them...idk how it works but based on the results...I feel this is a pretty good theory

All of this lotto stuff just makes me remember the days of lining up for the booth or getting wristbands on-site.

There’s definitely something missing in the community of line sitters that build waiting for the Funko booth.

At the same time, it is nice when you win the lotto and don’t have to wait in the days long line.

How did everyone feel about the online SDCC exclusive drop on Thursday? It doesn’t look like much sold out. Which is nice in that it seems like most people easily got what they wanted, but I wonder if demand just wasn’t very high this year? There wasn’t that crazy sought-after piece like The Fairly Odd Parents 3-pack at SDCC 2023 or Luffy with Going Merry at NYCC 2022. Was Voltron the hot seller this year? I know personally if I had gotten into the booth SDCC I woulda bought a bunch of them like Thrawn, Elmo and Edna, but since I didn’t win the lottery, and seeing the pattern of a lot of shared exclusives just sitting on the website and later going on clearance, I held off on the online drop.

I got booth access at SDCC this year but it was later in the day so a few things sold out before I got there (looking at you Spider-Boy). But was still able to get all of the limited number Pops except Voltron, so I'm happy. If anyone has a Spider-Boy with the SDCC sticker that they'd be down to trade for one of my other SDCC Pops, let me know!

Ya.. they should do what NYCC does of if u hit on one day it excludes u from other days. Same thing goes for the Hotel lottery, know people who get in almost instant & have multiple rooms to turn down or trade for the Big5 hotels

Ya. Last two years seems some become low stock or sold out after first session compared to not selling out until late morning or noon.

The exclusives were great this year. By far my favorite (once seeing it in person) was the Glitter Baymax. There's so much character to it; it's hard not to love.

I could see Funko bundling a pop with a Mondo product, just like they do with Loungefly.

That has yet to happen.

Hence, “I could see…”. Anything is yet to happen until it happens.

I was so sad too and I'm hoplding out that same hope. It's weird, the first time they were announced I was like, eh, then saw him and had to have him and I have collected them ever since. LOL

Oh well. Maybe next year.
