Last year was an uncertainty for most. Who knew if they were going to cancel SDCC again. Most companies did not put all their marbles on the table as financially that would have been a bad decision if SDCC did end up getting canceled again. That's why last year for those who attended it felt like a busy Wondercon than a normal Comic-Con. This year, however, I feel we are back to normal and things (including exclusives and panels) will be like it was in 2019.

Yeah hopefully this year is bigger and better, and that I'm able to attend haha

I think the closest we've come to an "anime" style Freddy was the Atomic Freddy given out at last year's Fundays.

I think the closest we come to an "anime" style Freddy was the Atomic Freddy given out at last year's Fundays.

I hope they push that boundary and go with something like DBZ. Its definitely one of their biggest sellers but I know licensing issues are different with anime.

Yea it is. I'm really glad that was the last giveaway Pop of last year's Fundays that everyone got, because it's one of my favorites from the event.

Don’t mean to turn the course of ideas— but what if a golden metallic idol Indiana Jones — it’ll be a good tribute for the film and more so it can create a warm invitation to Harrison Ford, and creating a fun frenzy le piece

Been on a bit of a Lord of the Rings kick lately and would love to see Freddy as Gandalf, Aragorn, Gimlee, or Legolas. Gandalf would be my top choice.

There's definitely a debate whether avatar is considered a true anime since it's a western animation.

Now that we got our Spider-Freddy, I think this is the next Marvel step. Still an absolute must have Freddy, and if Fundays is going to be bigger and better? This would fit right in!

Exactly, I would say the same. In that argument though, I can see it falling under the umbrella, but I think we are all just starved/hopeful that they take Freddy more 'east.'

So many great ideas here! I was thinking about how the NFT releases have really cranked out more Freddys than ever and I was concerned that it might be challenging for the designers to come up with new designs that could top 2022. Doesn’t seem like there’s anything to worry about at all.
