This one is red versus the gold one which debuted at SDCC then dropped with Target.

Ah okay, I couldn't even see the collars for the previous release anyway so I'll just pretend they are the same so I don't feel the need to hunt the original lol

We were able to get an online order through using the Target app. Now hopefully they show up uncrushed.

Lol I saved the gold one as a favorite. I'm waiting for it to appear back in stock. They have different item numbers. But now that they released the red one, I doubt gold will be coming back in stock. A rep assured me they would originally when it sold out right away for gold.

Not sure if they are gonna restock the red collar version online, it says delivery no longer available.

I don't think so since they released around 30k (mostly in stores). Unfortunately I had to order online and  at what I've seen buddies get in the mail.

Technically not a restock as it's a red collar and not the original gold collar that made it's debut at SDCC!

Oh wow, didn't even realize this! Just wanted a flocked one in general, interesting!

Same here!! I was somehow able to search him the night before, and when it came up live the next morning, I just went to the search bar and there it was. Added him to cart right away, used redcard to check out in a few seconds, and BAM!!

May need to use this method going forward.

That's what I did as well when I was in line waiting at the store. Quickly had it in favorites and kept refreshing until the link went live.

Got mine in the mail today. Target is definitely doing a much better job in packaging. Box within a box. Plus there is bubble wrap surrounding the pop that's inside the box within a box.

So someone correct me if I'm wrong, the first wave of these with a good collar also had a buckle? I keep seeing stock photos of a buckle but don't see a buckle on any of the pops themselves. Can someone verify what version of the pop had a buckle on the collar?

Looking at images on the evil bay site, it looks like none have buckles. It looks like target advertised it on their own website.

Looks like they might not be restocking at all for this item though. Was your pop wrapped up in bubble wrap and then placed in a small box, then it came delivered in a larger box?

You can probably complain to Target to get a discount on it, I doubt they will be able to replace.

they use so much material to protect the pops that it ironically causes the warping and pressure on the pops. seems like it would be cheaper and more efficient for them to use the cardboard form fitting pop boxes.

Sadly the majority of pop I receive from Target online com with box damage due to being too tightly wrapped in bubble wrap. I think it gets damaged while being handled by during packaging and not actually shipping itself. A simple solution would be to just use a pop sorter instead. For this pop I didn’t want to miss out online again so I was lucky enough to get him in store mint.

I am hoping that sorters become the norm for every Funko seller in the near future. I know retailers have to hate the constant returns on Pops.
