I've gotten lucky with ordering online from Amazon, HT and BL. But it is pretty random and half of the time, the chase is damaged

Story of my life! Only Chase I did get was randomly from Amazon on a Mr. Meeseeks and of course it arrive damaged. I just can't justify camping outside a store for it to open and missing work due to that. The Hot Topics near me don't post chases on their social media anyway.

I've been lucky and found 3 Star Lord chases from 3 different shops. One at a Barnes and Noble, Amazon (sold from Amazon and not a 3rd party seller), and a random shop at their airport. The airport shop was a bookstore and they just happened to have Funkos for display. If you're ever flying out somewhere and there's a bookstore at the airport, then I'd definitely try and check it out.

Sounds like a lot of being at the right place at the right time or befriending a worker. I’m guessing most people will grab any chase they see regardless of what it is. It’s nice to get a chase here or there but a lot of times I like the common more than the chase anyways.

Also, I think it was super easy to get the Black Panther chases, since we knew what day they were going to be released in stores. All you to do was be the first one at Target, HT, or maybe BoxLunch to snag them.

I haven't been able to find any since that day which bums me out because I wasn't the first in line to get into the store .

Usually Amazon will mark down pops. They carry tons with chase variants. Just order 3 when they go down to <$5 and you'd have a 1/2 chance in getting a chase, plus two commons for the price of just one.

The only time I’ve gotten chases are when I buy multiple of the same pop. When I ordered Organization 13 Mickey I ordered 6 during Black Friday, I was lucky and received 3 commons and 3 Chases.

Has anyone had any luck buying online from Toys R Us and getting a chase?

So ya, I’m not having any luck in receiving any Funko chases. I buy most of my Funkos online and have never been mailed a chase. I probably own 30 Funkos with chase variants. How is it possible if my odds are 1 in 6 to never receive a chase. I’ve ordered from Amazon, fye, hot topic, ee with no luck. I’m starting to get discouraged and thinking I’m making some kind of rookie mistake, so let me in on the secret. What online retailer can I order from and have a true 1 and six chance of getting a chase?

When I got there, they opened it to check if it all was there, I got a Chase of every single one I ordered. Got a double on one. Even they were shocked. I have yet to find a Chase in the wild...Only other Chases have been random from ordering online, or standing outside of countless Target stores (hello Shinning Twins) hoping they had one!!

HT was actually ok the past couple of years... but recently went back to their old ways. Im sure it wouldnt hurt for them to shoot that old memo out as a reminder and to let the newer employees know. <fingers-crossed>

Just remember that it's a huge gamble! I tried to do it again, and wasn't so lucky. But I wish you luck!!!!

I've never received one in the mail. I have been lucky hitting smaller towns when I travel and finding chases that way
