I completely agree! I have seen some custom LEDs that look sooooooo EPIC.... =D>

Oh, good point about the acrylic cases. It definitely makes for a nicer display piece. Lights would really take it to the next level

In the future I wonder if Funko might make something of their own. They made pops with sounds that fizzled out, but the Cases might be easier to market.

There's a couple other companies that have done it and lots of customs, so I'm sure Funko will want a piece of that pie soon enough

I have seen glow and bloody protectors but nothing with LED. Thankyou for the info, I will need to do some shopping later :)

Agreed! I really enjoyed the initial releases that seemed limited, even without the chases. Die cast is just a cool variant on its own

They feel fancier somehow lol maybe its the weight or the price or a combination of both. :-"

The weight definitely makes it feel fancier. Heft=value lol.

Right!? I find that with a lot of things. If it's light, it feels cheaper. Give it some heft and it feels more valuable — I guess because heavier materials typically have more inherent value. And metal collectibles are just cool

Well Vader is up! Not quick to sell out. I only got one, so we’ll see! I’d love a metal one to match my Boba, but I don’t want to end up with two of the same.

Loved seeing that this Die-Cast Vader dropped today since I know a lot of people have been anticipating for it. Hopefully, people are lucky and get the chase (if they want it). I was thrown off today since Funko Hollywood posted its on the table for purchase since the store has new hours now. Wondering what the next Die-Cast figure will be or if it'll make an SDCC debut.

Me too, I think a lighting McQueen would just make perfect sense in diecast. Be a 1st horizontal one. Lol.

Oh, that would be a lot of fun!

I have a feeling that they could do a Buzz Lightning first just because of the movie coming out. And i would be totally ok with that too lol.

Felt kind of relieved that it wasn't an SDCC exclusive because I know it'd be a pain to get. Best to luck to anyone hoping for the chase. I think I prefer the common this time around. Vader's suit just feels perfect for die-cast coating

The Vader is cool. Not sure I care for the unpainted chase. It almost would make more sense for that to be the common and the painted to be the chase (if they aren't just going to pain them differently anyway).

I can definitely see them releasing the next for SDCC. Let’s just hope not a LE exclusive

Overall pretty cool pop, but ima just stay away from any die cast.
Don’t really use hard stacks, even for my own collection.

Order one. Don't like the chase look though I have not seen it in person. Assume over time the CHase would be more valuable, but the black looks good and will look great next to cap, ironman, and the bat.
