Well I rolled the dice on one, I'm happy with the common for the die cast so I didn't need to double up. good luck to anyone hunting the chase!

Thankfully a friend grabbed one from the Hollywood store for me, can't wait to get it, though the shipping scares me.

Right!? I find that with a lot of things. If it's light, it feels cheaper. Give it some heft and it feels more valuable — I guess because heavier materials typically have more inherent value. And metal collectibles are just cool

I think it will gain more value long term

I feel that may be the case too, particularly with the earlier releases. But time will tell

Lightyear kind of is the perfect opportunity to launch Disney die cast. And now Vader has dropped, so the door is open

(If you're able to of course, only semi-pressure lol)

Plus, you can add another item to reach $65 and get a free gift AND shipping

I waited too long. I'm only slightly(very) annoyed with myself but am proud I had a little self restraint!

WOO HOO! Self restraint- what's that lol Worst case, unless you wanted the chase, you'll probably be able to find a common at or under retail. Or it'll restock. ORRRR more money for SDCC.

Got mine today! Loving it, but my only complaint about it again is the pop disconnecting from the base so easily. Overall though, Vader is perfect for Die-Cast.

I was very conflicted on this one. I don’t collect Star Wars anymore but I really like this, but the cost is also making me pause. I ended up not getting it and it sold out, but I can’t say with absolute certainty that a restock in the future wont get my money lol

Mine is supposed to arrive tomorrow, but who knows. I’m starting to feel like the only one who wants the unpainted version. I get peoples’ thoughts, but I want it to match my Boba, and I know if it does not, I will be tempted to check out the secondary market ](*,)

Yup, I think so too. It would be sweet of they could incorporate gitd for his utility belt.

I want his helmet to be able to open and close

I feel like the die cast would be able to better accommodate some movement. Maybe it'll be something we see in the near future

For sure. They're already pretty heavy though - think about how heavy a fully articulated one would need to be!
