I read that earlier. I hope to score tickets either Thursday or Saturday. I’ve been to his show once. Missed out a couple of the years. I ended up being one of those guys who waited outside of the show to try and buy one of each to complete the set lol

I had immense joy when I got my Comikaze Peter Parker. I was relatively new to the hobby and didn’t really have anything expensive but I did have a Batman chase and a punisher Chase, so I tried to trade them to no avail. I ended up selling them to friends and then I searched high and low for an affordable Peter Parker. It took a while but I finally got one and it was the first time I had a hard Protector and I was so happy. Ended up getting it signed by Stan Lee and got to meet him. Top 5 moment of my life and no matter how tight money gets, I’ll never get rid of that pop.

What are some Pops that you found, received, purchased or traded for that made you happy?

Could be any time, whether its all time or just as recent as today.

There’s too many to name, but I was extremely happy when I got my bank robber joker at my local hot topic years ago. I held on to it and I’m happy I did. And the one pop I had traded was my metallic Martian from mars attack. I obtained this from a trade (alien sdcc bloody variant). I had won the alien in a raffle for $30 and someone else saw my winning and they offered me the metallic Martian sdcc, and I couldn’t say no! It’s wow!! I can’t believe I have him! Makes me very happy to be the owner of one of these beauties!!!!

I FINALLY was able to complete my Regular show collection with my purchase of a Benson. He was the last one I needed and also the most expensive one to secure. It was worth it though just to see the creative design on this POP and the sound of the rattling gumball in his head was sweet music to my ears that reverted me back to an baby with a rattle.

There are always two that stood out. SDCC Headless Ned Stark and Gemini Metallic Green Arrow. Ned - ah Ned - I just loved because a) He's Ned Stark and b) it's purposely designed different from any other pop I've had. And as for Ollie? Well, I'm a loyal Arrow fan so that was a must when I learned this version existed. Those two are literally on my list of pops that MUST stay in collection no matter what. I've even told my family - really - if ever my collection needed to go, there are about 40 pops that MUST never leave and those two are in the 40.

I've been made offers for Ollie several times. Sorry - the answer is always no. And don't even ask for Ned. Not happening.

That being said, there are others that I will part with if needed and I won't feel a shred of regret. But not those two.

The one pop that making me smile right now is my signed Batman Animated Pop by Kevin Conroy from Wondercon a couple weeks ago. How much his voice pretty much defined one character as I glanced at Batman vs TMNT today and couldn't help but wonder if it was Kevin Conroy voicing it (it wasn't, it was Troy Baker who sounds a lot like him).
