How many POPs do you add to your collection a month?

I pick up pops here and there, and keep them in various spaces. I was shocked when I took an inventory count. I have about 150 more pops than even I realized!!

This is the same for me. Definitely Ramos up during con season. Im almost at 1k!

i used to add way too much but i got it down to maybe 1-3 a month

I use to get almost 10 to 20 a month but now maybe be 5 every 2 months or something

I purchase a few here and there, the only times I know I purchase more than a dee is during the Cons and during the Star Wars Convention where my wallet takes a hit.

Hahahahah I feel your pain/joy. I hate when I'm cataloging and numbers to pops to hobbydb ain't adding up right...

I would say maybe about 2-3 per month. I pick and choose what I really want to get and know that I'll keep.

The collection is so big that my son can only add if he trades or sales in the same number. He is surprisingly good at it and added about 10 news ones a month. :freddy2:

Good rule your son has. I limit myself to 3-5 a month. Except during a Con with exclusives, then all bets are off.

It depends on the month as I only collect certain lines. Some months depending on the releases I will buy little to no new pops and put my budget towards older grails.

I am starting to become space conscious and definitely need to start selling those pops I’ve previously gone through and designated for sale.

I’m debating trying to really focus on Freddy’s only.

We have cut down a bunch cause it was getting out of hand. I think 5-10 is common on the high end, with some months just being 1-2. Really need to love the line, release, and the fandom.

Yeah normally after SDCC weekend, I run through no less than 50-100 protectors easily. So I tend to stock up prior to the event so I don’t have to sweat it by the time SDCC is among us. Preparation for the event is a whole process

I go on binges. I'll go a few weeks of nothing, and then buy 5 or 6. So idk on average maybe 2 or 3 a month?

This really depends on how my bills are that month but I would say usually between 10 to 20 pops a month some months or more some months or less my wallet tends to hate me most of the time.

Great question, as the space available tends to be more limited then I would like, I would say I would end up with 1 pop/soda a month. When the con comes around then its easily 5+ in a week. lol

and the weeks after it would be like 1+ a week. Wow, now to think about it, lol

I need to cut down as the spaces are gonna be filled again soon.

I was coming on here to write something similar. When I started collecting I was single, so I collected more, then I got married and still collected what I wanted but now we just had baby number two, so now my collecting has taken a big hit between expense of child needs and space. At this time unless something is a huge must have I'm trying to just get con exclusives of stuff I really want or for my kids rooms but at age 1 month and 3 years they don't have too many favorites, yet :razz:

Similar for me. The hype is always high right before, during, and after a con. Sometimes I buy extra pops when I’m getting things signed (to keep one in box and one signed). I have limited space too, so I try to keep the “buy one, sell one” policy going, but I usually end up with a surplus around this time.
