I know there were some customs last year during fundays. Only problem with NCAA, the schools/conference will depict the royalties and I don't imagine them to be cheap.

I agree with this. The branding issue with NCAA is a tricky one, at best. I'd love to see them made but I cannot image the stress of obtaining all of the permissions and working out royalties with that organization

I thought SC’s mascot is actually Traveler, the horse, and not Tommy Trojan. Although as a Bruin, I blow raspberries at both. :tongue:

There is one at basketball games but football is always an actual horse.

At least with the NFL i would think you could potentially get a blanket license but with the Individual schools/Conferences I don't see it being easy. The closest we may get might be Rudy.

Smart move on Funkos part no matter what the license cost them. Can you imagine all the new collectors they’re about to get? They’ve just tapped into a huge market even if they don’t make a lot of profit from these exact Pops

I know of a beer distributor where I am from that will sell the Pittsburgh sport teams at their place. They make so much on these because a lot of people will see it when they are checking out and be like I'm gonna take this also. I could only imagine how this would go in a college town/bookstore.

Hopefully all of them stay as commons, but Barnes & Noble does have on campus bookstores at several schools that could get added in the future.

The location at Texas A&M is even across Kyle Field and would sell well on game days, even if stocked with Pops of the opponent school.

My alma mater, University of West Florida, FINALLY got a football team a few years ago and I would LOVE a mascot pop.
But being that they are DII, I see very little chance of this happening...

you really cant go wrong with most of these. born and raised in ohio (no i didn't go there) brutus buckeye is a must. and he already has a funko history (my grail goals).

would love the face of obscure college mascots that western kentucky red thing.

going to take awhile to get my alma mater mascots made i am afraid.
