Perhaps another lottery just like last year.

I'm not sure why people think all of them will be blacklight. I'd guess like 6 or so based on the previous years.
Yeah, just like how not everything fit the tiki theme in 2019.
I am hoping and expecting the same. About 4 Blacklight Freddys, a blacklight soda, and then the rest are normal to fit other licenses. As dramatic as this sounds, it's always so surreal seeing and opening the BoF for the first time without anyone knowing what they are!

Pretty sure right in the middle of when Fundays is going on!
thefunkohunko wrote:squidward wrote:I don't think these really work with the blacklight theme, but my wish list includes:
-Freddy as Han Solo in Carbonite. I love that design and I think it would be so cool to have it turned into a Freddy
-Freddy as Stitch 626
-Freddy Indiana Jones
I tried my hand at this concept last year. Would be one of the most unique and sought after Freddys, IMO.

I like this as well! No leaks make the surprise even better and that’s what it’s about, having fun with the box of fun!

I hope we have zero leaks before the big show. I would prefer to be surprised and see what everyone gets. That's much more fun.

It might be because the last fundays was almost 3 years ago, but when I think about it I really don’t remember seeing any Freddy leaks prior to the event. Plenty of fakes would circulate but not many (if any) event Freddys. I’m all for it continuing to be a surprise.

It's my own personal little box of fun!
Seriously though, it's worked well enough that a friend is now shopping for a hard sided suitcases for SDCC. Gotta be prepared!
Ahhh. I wouldn’t worry too much about the suitcase. As long as you have pop protectors. You’ll be good.

Agreed, I never travel without pop protectors anymore. And at a convention, especially SDCC, they are a MUST!
The best thing about the BOF is that it does a pretty great job of protecting the pops inside, usually!

Yes! And you'll avoid scrambling to find an exhibitor who's selling them and paying the convention price, especially when they might not be the greatest quality.

Typically the box was $50, last year they put in a bunch of other stuff which inflated it’s price.

Yeah, it was $50 in 2019 for 3 Pops https://www.funko.com/blog/article/funk ... ve-item-is

I wonder if people will walk outside the hotel when these drop just in case they have different Freddys than at the event. I think 2019 I really ended up liking a lot of the ones that weren't available at Fundays.
